I'm not sure what games you're playing, but not a single one of mine require internet to play
Posting something on a comment section like this takes far less bandwidth than a networked PS5 game. I'm one of those "losers". Haven't had my PS4 online in years. No need to. Just because you do, and want to believe that everyone does, it doesn't mean that they do. Just like we are getting 4K machines, which is awesome, but a small percentage of people probably have a 4K TV. Although I'd bet that's changing quickly with how cheap they are getting.
@sushi
This is not Destiny 2 nor is it fake outrage. Your sickness might be real, but that's all on you
The rise of the internet and the creation of YouTube have people believing they're a lot of things.
The reboot of NFS in 2015 WAS always online (to those disagreeing).So was Rivals. After those I decided not to bother with the games. Not only that, it's EA and I'm staying away from their games as it is.
@sushi
Maybe? I never played Destiny 2. I've been steering clear of games like that and certain publishers (Activision, EA, Ubisoft)
Even if I were always online I wouldn't want a game that didn't need to be online subjected to it. Internet goes out and fluctuates all the time.
Need for Speed was one
Can't we leave this bad practice behind us? I guess they just shot themselves in the foot with this game. I won't be getting it either.
@evil
I'm in the same boat. I want new games but have so many yet to play as it is. I bought Ghost ofT and was waiting on TLoU2 but a video store was going out of business and it was really hard to pass it up for $20. I bought God of War as well. The first and last are some beautiful looking games
I don't know why they would even say this. Of course drift is an issue. Nobody buys a controller if it's going to move on its own.
It won't you're right. MS is using it as a marketing tool and it's a lie.
Fans get mad when publishers or other companies don't allow developers creative freedom, so they shouldn't be in the way of it themselves either.
@sushi
I said "like 27", but you and MasterofUnlocking are the first to say how many actually. Good for you. Phantom disagrees don't do anything to a discussion. The point I was making was there's a big difference in the amount of studios between the 2. So I was 4 off. Big deal
Interesting article considering it's about what companies are working on and many are still unknown. Great things to look forward to
I wasn't comparing numbers as if to talk about quality or anything like that, just the number itself. All the disagrees on a fact is kind of funny.
@Unknown
Yes quality is where it counts
It does. We really haven't had many games like these over the recent years. One thing I'd like to know is if there are areas where you need 2 more people to get something done like in the LBP story modes
@dark
I don't know where he's from, but here in the US I've had many people try and tell me things like "everything is opinion and nothing is fact because of who says it". Crazy times
Well that's good. It would be horrible if they didn't carry over for any old game. I plan to play all my PS4 games on the PS5 this time around (unlike PS2 to PS3)because it'll be a huge step up from the launch PS4. Plus my system is spitting discs back out at me and having something that works better with my 4K tv is going to be great
It may, but the fact it's always online ruins it
