Throw Skyrim in there too and I'm with you. This year's about to get even more insane.
Yoshida generally seems really smart and classy. More so than many others in similar positions.
You can dislike games y'know. I personally didn't like it much at all. Was far too long, dragged a lot.
I thought the interview system was slightly broken too. The fact that you can pick 'doubt' and be called wrong doesn't suit a game that's supposed to let you react honestly. It wasn't dynamic enough.
It does confuse me sometimes... When people seem to get offended and demand to know why people have disagreed.
I assume it's because they don't agree. Not a personal attack or anything.
I don't think anyone's saying the Vita's more powerful than PS3. And it obviously has lower resolution, it's a handheld.
But with that in mind the graphics are outstanding, I'd say better than the PS3 launch titles for sure and pretty damn close to Drake's Fortune.
An Elder Scrolls specifically designed for the Vita would be life consuming.
There's always a chance it could happen, there was a PSP Oblivion planned for a while.
The case against Ratchet and Clank is that Ratchet and Clank are the only interesting characters? That's crazy.
That's true, but somehow even that got me very excited. Just seeing how much smoother the interaction is than in Oblivion.
I'd say that's pretty hard to tell from a low quality mulitplayer vid. The gamescom and e3 demos looked like almost the same leap to me.
Maybe not in terms of pure visual fidelity but certainly in how dynamic it is and the animations. Like when Nate reaches out and touches the walls as the ship rocks back and forth.
That does mildly irritate me. Games like this should have stats! Loving it so far though.
@HeavenlySnipes
It may be an unpopular opinion and one I don't agree with but I'm not sure why it shows bias.
The game did get a 9.0, this reviewer just dislikes the Kratos character.
I have to agree that Uncharted 3 and Skyrim are my top two contenders, but Portal 2 definitely rounds out the top three.
It's a phenomenal game, certainly among the best of the year.
Yeah I hear ya, most rocket scientists are idiots... sigh.
Huh? What difference does that make. If anything the 30fps decision means they're pushing the SP hard.
Every Uncharted game runs at 30fps and I think you'll agree it doesn't harm the experience at all.
I think Rage has MP but yeah that's what I was thinking. Most of the big, exciting games are SP focused even if they have multiplayer.
Games like Uncharted 3. Then there was also Dead Space 2 and LA Noire and Portal 2 and... So much more. I'm certainly not worried about single player going away.
Pretty sure they haven't confirmed platforms for this one. Safe to assume it'll be on PSN at least but I think I saw an interview in which they said they want as many people as possible to be able to play it.
Yep, pretty pointless really. Uncharted is gorgeous but can't compete with a game designed for an uber rig.
It annihilates every other console game ever made though.
Hell, they could even reveal it at their Gamescom conference tomorrow!
I can dream...
I really don't want another Star Wars or Indiana Jones.
I wouldn't mind another GoW though, but would prefer it if they took some time off from the franchise.
Shame that you're getting disagrees, Christophe Balestra confirmed it as fake on his twitter account.
