Very true.
I mean I expected GOW3 to be playable internally, but maybe not the public. If Santa Monica pulls off a public demo available at E3 that'd be a huge stride towards an 09 release. Still though, I think March '10 would be more suitable.
Side note: It's cool to hear him say games like Gears of War, Castlevania and SotC motivated them.
I really don't expect TOO much. It's GDC, not E3 and I think people are still expecting more since GDC 07 when LittleBigPlanet and Home were first announced. But that doesn't mean we won't see anything...
1) I think Insomniac will announce their next project, probably Ratchet and Clank Future 2
2) PixelJunk's new entry (which we already know about)
3) Release date and more information on The Agency
4) I think we'll get TEASERS to Koj...
It would be cool if we got it this week during GDC, but I highly doubt that's going to happen. Sony has a history of holding back feature launches until the week before or of E3. That way they can incorporate it into their keynote for all to hear.
Great news though! The PSN is looking good.
EDIT: After reading the actual post it seems like it's still a way off..."In development". Those words make me cringe
Looking forward to some great news and interviews this week
21 years old, 22 on April 8th, and yes...
I still play Pokemon. It's a great game.
Though I haven't collected the cards since 5th grade. Maybe this summer I'll buy a box of the first booster set like I did with my Star Wars CCG sets a few years ago
If any of you are on the fence on Platinum and haven't played one of the entrys before, buy it.
That was a fun watch, wish I could've been there...
Side note: What was with that 2 second shoe scene?
1) It takes a lot of skill/getting used to. If your average at shooters and think the 3rd/1st person camera is the only thing that's different your in for a big suprise
2) It also takes TIME. You wont appreciate the game unless you play it for about a month, and you also won't get better.
3) It's definetly clan orientated. Your going to have more fun playing with friends than by yourself
But I think a majority of new comers don't think that. They t...
All that matters is DLC from this point on, and not any DLC, but quality DLC.
I own both Rock Band and Guitar Hero and I'm choosing personally to support Rock Band from here on out. Activision has slipped up too much. Making people buy full band discs (Metallica, Van Halen, Aerosmith) and NOT supporting previously downloaded content from GH3 was a big no-no for me.
Even though I'll probably buy the upcomming Beatles game, because I love the Beatles, I'm sticking...
But adding Tyson is where they get people (like me) hooked.
I played Fight Night RD 3 a few times, but I don't think I've ever been closing to purchasing a boxing game. HOWEVER, the inclusion of Iron Mike has me sold. Looking forwad to it.
EDIT: Wow. After looking at the very bottom of my games stack there lies Fight Night Rd 3 for the PS3. Damn..
As a PlayStation 3 owner only, I could care less if this becomes exclusive.
I was one of those people who had to wait a year and read nothing but great reviews before I got my hands on the first one, and it was well worth the wait. Great game.
Hopefully the second one follows in its footsteps
"teh PS3 is where console exclusives go to die!"
Good news. This is one of the few times I've actually been excited to check out NPD's. Anyone know when they'll hit?
Killzone 2 - FTMFW
Never has a shooter given Socom II (my heart and soul) a run for it's money in terms of addictiveness and COD4 came damn close...
On a side note "Over 4 Million PSN Users" is a great number. Especially considering the major success there has been since then. When did COD4 launch? November 2007 right? That was way back when N4G was still running "WHY THE PS3 IS FAILING" articles...Oh wait...
The PSN is looking great, and all this before:
1) More PS1 Titles
2) PS2 Titles
3) Retail/PSN Launches on a same day basis
We've got it made :)
Why do you think President Obama, is the President...
Burnout Paradise.
Sarcasm...
In all honesty I guess I am a little excited for this one. I thought COD5 copied A LOT of features and that's what made the game more dull. Hopefully COD6 brings it back to it's roots but adds some better graphics and more features (Recordable/Uploadable Kill Cam, New game games, More clan options)
Until then I'm shipping out with ISA
I probably wouldn't consider myself a "hardcore" gamer, but from what I've heard/seen/read about Shane Betenhausen (Spelling?/Former 1UP) there are ton's of Japanese games we've never even heard of, or at least I haven't..
Even when I go on my Japanese PSN account the store is filled with hundreds of titles I've never heard of or characters I've never seen.
I am jealous.
**********EDIT*************** ******************************* *****...
It's still good news.
Especially considering that around GT4's launch last year (about a year from now) the PlayStation 3 hadn't sold nearly as well as it has since then.
Good news for Sony
Those are extremely good sales, especially on RE5 week. Consumer interest for the PlayStation 3 has stayed on Sony's side the last few weeks.
Things are looking real good
:)
Around this exact time last year (between GDC and E3) Ted Price, after the Resistance 2 announcement got a lot of questions based on whether or not Insomniac will stick with Sony.
More than once he responded that even though they are independent, they have a great relationship with Sony and that's why they stick with it. However he did say the company would be open to multiplatform in the future. Only problem is we don't know when that is.
As a PlayStation 3 owne...
Send a letter to the guy who used In-Game Advertising in Burnout Paradise to help push his campaign last year.
Not that Burnout Paradise is a "death simulator" but Obama's not gonna pay any attention to this. Terrible Economy, War in Iraq, Video Games....Yeah, right.
