"MW: 2 to out do M.A.G.?"
"Zipper to create another mess?"
"Bungie Dev says M.A.G. possible on 360?"
"Anything with M.A.G. and a question mark..?"
:)
"just online and with over 256 players online and one thing i missed good graphics"
Um. Yeah that and it's basically an MMO. The 256 players are divided into 8 squads which are each lead by chosen leaders based off of individual character advancement. Chain of command also goes higher than Squad leaders. The character development is also based off of customization and speciializing.
So yeah, nothing close to Socom actually...Completely new IP
They all said "Zipper's gonna change it to a Socom name, just wait and see", but I mean why? If they changed it...
1) It would just be a way of Sony saying Socom Confrontation is a huge failure
2) Socom Confrontation sales wouldn't sell at all
3) The Socom fanbase would be even more upset knowing they purchased a game that would mean nothing if M.A.G. did indeed change it's name to Socom ________
Smart move for both Sony and Z...
But hear me out.
From a PS3-only owner, a Killzone 2 buyer on day 1, and a gamer who owns/plays almost every shooter I can, even I can admit that Killzone 2 lacks one major feature...
DEPTH.
Yes the game looks great, run's smooth, and is really fun, but there isn't enough stuff to do. I finished my Medal/Ribbon trophies in 3-4 days and achieved the top online rank in that same period leaving nothing left but the Clan Valor system, which is great.
...
I can't wait to try the demo. I haven't played a decent Batman game since Batman Returns on my Genesis
Yes the game launched missing tons of features
Yes the game had pretty bad connection problems
Yes there have been tons of updates
But each update has made the game much better. After 1.5 is released there are three things missing that will make the game great:
1) More maps
2) PMN Mines
3) The Clan Tournament system
And for those of you asking if it's worth the buy, it is. The bundle is a great value if you don't have a ...
FPS instead of Zippers classic choice of Third Person? That really surprises me.
Unlike most Socom fan's I'm completely faithful that they'll deliver with M.A.G. Can't wait to see more info. So far the screens and even the art work look good.
I think the most underappreciated feature in Zippers past games were map layouts. The level design was perfect, even in the Socom 3/CA maps we hated.
Hopefully we get more info before E3
I'm not going to read the article but I HOPE (fingers crossed) that Activision actually evolves MW:2.
I'll wait until E3.
I'm not about to jump to conclusion based on a trailer that showed no footage and three new perks.
However I know in the end I'll probably buy it regardless. I need my shooters.
MGS5 was never ***Officially*** announced. At the end of Kojimas keynote there was a slide that stated "Mission: The Next Metal Gear", which went along with in speech in trying to show developers how to break the boundaries and be more creative and innovative. At the top of the screen was a picture of Raiden.
The quote:
"The game is going to be superior, the graphics, Gameplay and the storyline, I believe Kojima could push Metal Gears Solid 5 to th...
1) New Ratchet game?
2) Leaked Uncharted 2 gameplay?
But I've seen a lot of these rebuttle arguments lately on N4G and what's the point?
One site will say "Here's a rumor about what might happen"
Another one comes in with the "Are they wrong/telling the truth?"
I mean, I'd rather read an opinion piece disecting each Final Fantasy game and telling me which one they think is the best and why. Are you telling me that two days after GDC people have absoluetly nothing to talk about exc...
I watch his show when he actually has reliable sources on (like this one) and it's not half bad. It does need to lose some of the theactrics though, like the Crytek video where he makes him spin the WWE belt? What the f*** is that?
BUT these shows aren't half bad.
However, I'll never read an article on his site...ever. His writers are terrible.
I'm on my 3rd PlayStation 3.
My launch 60GB died about a year and a half after purchase, but not because of the YLOD. My second PS3 was the first 80GB Motorstorm bundle, and that died a year after I redeemed it (YLOD) (Best Buy Warranty Exchange). Now I'm on my 3rd PS3, the normal 80GB sku and so far I've had no problems.
Not that I blame Sony for anything, I leave my system on all the time whether I'm gaming or watching media. In fact I'd say within a 24hr time...
Agreed.
I'm hoping since E3 is in June this year that maybe they'll do a 1 Year Anniversary campaign where they'll patch it with Trophies and maybe cut prices on the game and MGO DLC. I know that sounds wierd, but Kojima always has surperises up his sleeve.
What ever happened to that thing last year? Wasn't somthing supposed to launch 6 months later to coincide with the game? Or along those sorts...
The other day when I first went into the Hub some guy was taking pictures of this exact thing, except on our screens the door was shut and the people were on the other side. Maybe I'll go check it out, and finish the puzzle (if it finishes). I didn't bother with the computer stuff after finding the 3 pieces of paper
Isn't this the one taking place in NYC? Maybe they had to dumb down certain things in order to make the surroundings look more fluent.
Anyways there's gotta be some upcomming previews of this as it moves closer to launch, but as of now I'll probably be sticking with iNfamous (which looks gorgeous btw)
Looks like I was right, although I didn't think they'd both be 2010

:)
I still think it would be cool if they released a Ratchet skin for Resistance 2 online.
1) Pokemon Red
2) Pokemon Blue
3) Pokemon Yellow
And I'm sold.
I go to school (UWM) and have a full time job and actually make a living. What's funny is that you consider that a "site". Keep up the good work!
EDIT: And anyone can write for any non-major gaming sites. I wrote two pieces for TheGameReviews (MLB 08 The Show Review/Top 5 Things...Somthing about Socom). Since you seem to be one of my biggest fans feel free to check them out
