@ Imt558,
I'm sure these quotes are legit. But please provide links just so they can read them for themselves. PS4 numbers are what's actually possible and Xbox One numbers are whats theoretically possible.
Then why propose a sell of specific part of that division if that's the only part that's profitable? I mean, why would investors single out Xbox Division only?
Don't know this ultimately doesn't matter. Xbox One will launch with a pretty good launch lineup. I guess this is why they aren't dropping the price. Kinect needs to be a success given all the R&D money that went into it.
the fact the they have an additional 47MB of EsRAM contradicts the whole CPU/GPU seeing the same information at the same time.
to actually read the article.
" In a statement to Guido Alt, Senior PR Manager at Sony: "I can not judge whether EA Windows 7 PCs used for the demonstration of PS4 games for Sony, I can deny the clear and unambiguous All content shown. title at the PlayStation booth ran on PS4 hardware. "
because their pre-order sales were extremely low? All these weren't initially in the works except for the launch line up. These were all things used to stop the bleeding. I could be wrong. But seeing as how you can still pre-order an Xbox One in most places even when their launching in fewer territories speaks volumes.
sincere. How exactly are they building momentum? I haven't seen anything or heard anything to suggest that. There are also a lot of features we have yet to see running. Twitch integration being the main one. They've only showed "UPLOAD" and the dashboard.
need a Crystal Ball to make this prediction. While this article hits almost every nail on the head, this quote here bothers me.
" Sure, it doesn’t come with all of the fixin’s available with the Kinect, but its graphical capabilities look to be at least able to match those in the Xbox One initially."
I surely hopes he's speaking only to multiplatforms. Even then we have quotes guaranteeing that One System will look substantially better than the ...
Sony doesn't need some 3rd party developer to make great games on their system. We get titles like Killzone Day One. Like he said numbers don't lie. Xbox360 people threw this up constantly until numbers turned in favor of PS3. Then number magically didn't matter anymore.
*Pre-order numbers doesn't matter
*launch markets doesn't matter
*Price doesn't matter
*System specs doesn't matter
*World outside of America doesn&...
blows Titanfall (graphically out of the water). My buddy been saying "Sony need to pillage Titanfall from Microsoft." My response is always :" I'll be playing Killzone so I won't be missing it too much."
Microsoft is doing alot to get themselves back in gamer's good grace. While I personally, have yet to be swayed, others enjoy the changes being made. Xbox One was never a bad system, it was just Microsoft's message. After watching the 6 minute video of Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer, I feel even more secure in my Ps4 pre-order.
I hate when PC gamers mistaken "high end" for "enthusiast" PC. Price/Performance ration is always on the side of consoles. PC usually brute force their way through games (zero optimization). PC gamers also leave V-Sync turned off to increase their FPS. You're paying over $500 for your Mobo/System RAM/GFX Gard/CPU/and HDD then you better run games better than a console. But you'll find it hard pressed to achieve the same results. PCI express will never be as fast as...
This is a none issue for me. Battlefield 3 felt alot like COD so I bought it and never even played it. Killzone will be holding me over until I upgrade my PC.
There are still a ton of things we have yet to see with Xbox One. We haven't seen their streaming functionality or anything else for that matter. They have showed us upload and Live TV functions. TGS is the last major event before these consoles go on sale. With so much still left unseen, you have to kind of be worried a little. Also with the numbers coming in for PS4, EA will definitely release on PS4 after a year.
can both definitely add another "Game Of The Year" under their belts.
people don't remember. Xbox 360 launched November 25. I don't think MS will launch along side COD:Ghost because then it would make their upgrade program mute. It's only for a limited time. My guess would be that PS4 launches November 15th (ps3 November 16th). Xbox One will launch November 21st-22nd. That way anyone who bought there Xbox360 copy of Ghost can just upgrade it for $10.
what the capture rate is? Are Ps4 videos locked in @ 720p like Xbox One? I saw Gamesyde 1080p video of Ps4 Ui and it was(2min57sec 1.024GB), it looks alot better the facebook One(3min: 67MB). Can anyone ask Shuhei Yoshida about this? Or can you adjust this based on your connection speed?
this is to be expected at this point. I want to see Xbox One's twitch integration. Ps4/Ustream seemed like a streamlined transition no matter what you're doing. Definitely getting Killzone ShadowFall. Hope to catch some of you guy's streams "Live On Playstation".
not Sony but EA. That's a Need for Speed kiosk
NO, sorry Xbox One has split memory. I poster on neogaf put it the best when describing ps4's huMA. "It's keeping all the benefits of GDDR5, while removing it's weaknesses." This quote right here sums it up. The 32MB of ESRAM CAN give Xbox One a performance boost but developers have yet to optimize coding for it. "Easy to learn, hard to master."
"It depends what you’re doing. GPU, like 40 per cent more powerful. DDR5 is basically 50 per cent more powerful than DDR3, but the memory write is bigger on Xbox One so it depends on what you’re doing."

This comes for a developer who started out on PC. While the write is larger on the Xbox One, this is where HUMA comes in to play. The GPU doesn't need to wait for old cache to be rewritten before it sees the new data. It can identify it immediately.
