I'm not going to troll because what you're saying is correct and I won't give you stealth disagrees for no reason. People who purchase ANY system Day one are already sold on it. That fact that some features won't be there day one, won't hinder the purchase in any way. With that being said, how can this be a pillar of your next gen console and you not have it ready outside America? Just more and more signs of a rushed to market system.

They just wanted to show how fast they could get this up and running off of actual dev kits. This was mainly the purpose the the press conference last week. This game has no release date yet. With all that in mind, you have to be impressed how far they've come in such a small amount of time. The fact that there still isn't a launch day means things like gameplay, resolution, textures, etc will only get better.

Thing is this game is still very early into development. I'm not worried about it if it's looking this good, this early. They should be able to achieve the target render based on these early results.

I wouldn't be too sure about that analogy. Windows Surface/8RT have been a complete disaster. Windows 8 adoption rate is lower than Windows vista. Sony isn't particularly fond on windows either. Most of the UIs run off some form of Linux. Also Sony's rise to fame started in Cinema with Spiderman bringing in the most money for them.
much like the EdRAM inside the Wii U, developers have yet to make any kind of techniques for get the extra bandwidth out of them. These were put in there to help rectify that narrow DDR3 pipeline. But if developers don't properly use it then this is what we can expect.

I have a ps3. It's not anything to write home about and I don't think installing disc 2 is a necessity for most 360 gamers. Good to know though.
That has to sting a little. But the game looks great none the less. Given the hardware limitations at the moment, Crytek still managed to impress. Microsoft needs to get better optimized drivers for the EsRAM. It's still a good looking game though.
