I guess I'm not under an NDA anymore in regards to the FL beta! The game had some promise and they put a lot of love into it but I got bored with it quickly tbh. Ultimately it's not the Fable that anyone wanted and to me it was at least a year from being ready as it was also a buggy mess, Lionhead never seemed to polish their games well at all.

Agreed, Alan Wake is so underrated, that game got into my bones!

There isn't one, don't expect much sense in these comments, we all know it's filled with Sony fanboys. Essentially it's more like the Android store, if people want to ignore it they can.
Their current track is getting them trounced by Sony 2-1, they have to do something. Maybe if they do this I might actually buy a current gen console.
Let's say Microsoft released an upgraded Xbox every 2 years for the next 8 years. Altogether they would have 5 different consoles based on the same architecture most likely, that is NOT comparable at all to the PC, which has millions of different combinations of hardware.
The only problem I see is that it takes a bit of a dump on those that have already bought the X1, will there be a way for them to upgrade easily?

The Megadrive is a much better name that the Genesis, I feel sad that the rights to that name was already taken in the US. Glad I'm from the UK then ;) The Megadrive is my fave console of all time, so I take any comparison to it as a compliment myself. Mind you the only way I'm buying an X1 (or PS4 for that matter) is if the rumours of an upgraded X1 are true, 1080p60 should be a standard for all games honestly.
I disagree, for the time I thought of the Playstation as really ugly, it was a powerful (for the time) piece of kit though, kudos there. Seriously look at the Megadrive, the Neo Geo and the Saturn, they were all much sexier and sleeker looking.
I agree the N64 was a little toy like, nice curves though, the Gamecube was like a fisher price toy mind you!

The Hololens uses a built Kinect for gestures, unless they have improved it's accuracy a hundred fold then this will bomb, mark my words.
Talking aesthetically, man the Playstation was one ugly console (maybe painting it black would've helped), the Saturn and N64 were infinitely better looking. The Megadrive was a stunner too and the SNES was ugh, proper ugly, especially the purple one!
The N64 had the best games though, stupid Nintendo keep making wrong decisions though!
Btw the SNES may have won the 16bit generation but the Megadrive certainly wasn't a loser, it was a very successful ...
I'd love to see some numbers, the 360 controller just has to be the best selling PC peripheral ever.
Having played in the beta, the game was not close to release I assure you.
