attempt at getting publicity, by runing what ever "credibility" they might have had. Any gamer with a right mind set, would pick either the SNES / PS2 as the best systems ever to grace this planet. Yet the Xbox 360 is ranked #1, pathetic.
Everyone bookmark this website, so when someone tries to use gamedaily as a source you can show them this.
Going by the Xbox fanboys monthra, you should never play with your system. I don't think disk drive issues, can cause a system to RROD. So, it's not his fault the system decided to go "sentinel" on him. It would be amazing to see, owners of the Xbox actually being outraged about the lack of support for the system. Then going around blaming the victim for once.
People aren't made of money, I am guessing repairing a console is cheaper then buying a new one. And OPENING the case would VOID the warranty for his NEW CONSOLE.. have you thought about that Einstein?
That not one person who "supports" Microsoft finds it a bit ridiculous that Microsoft can disable / prohibit / delete content off your your system without your permission. Simply because, it would better secure them (Microsoft) from having content "games" etc.. stolen.
I am left speechless...
Heavy Rain is not being developed by SCE.
Wow, just wow.. it's brilliant in Microsoft behalf.. they figure these people with the XNA are going to create games, and we are going to get a tone of royalties form them... so why bother with indie games? Well, if you toke a look at Youtube and realized 90% of the videos are either copyrighted, or not worth watching.. maybe that's why you should be worried Microsoft.
Good luck,
70% to 35%, if Microsoft thinks games made by users are going to be better then indie games.. I hope they re-think their strategy. Yes, a lot of indie games have weren't that great, but there are also a fair amount of good games. XNA is just going to magnify the band games by 10, and make the good games become an even greater rarity on XBLA.
Is a "remake" of a N64 game.. kind of pathetic.
First off, Mark Rain doesn't state ANYTHING, that is a speculation made by the author of the article. What is assumed, is that these demonstrations were running on the Unreal Engine, and most likely on PCs / dev kits, not on a 360 SKU. These were simple demonstration of the Unreal Engine, all or none of what was demonstrated might be in the actual game.
I think he also mentioned XBL games are not included on that list.. so I would love to see this. Only 10 months left, the clock is ticking..
I didn't realize Microsoft made GTA4.. /end sarcasm
Vice City / San Andras let's be real here folks.
Microsoft has been slapping consumers in the face for a long time, it's unfortunate that some of us continue to not only purchase their products but try to defend it's integrity.
Huxley is a MMO <-- Massively Multi-player Online Game.. DUAHHHHHHHHHHH.
Put that word into your heads, "drones". I didn't realize there was a pre-set standard that states 60 players online should automatically SUCK, because Bungie says so. I didn't realize, Bungie was the authority when it comes to online gaming. Last I checked, companies can still be "creative", and that's what Insomniac is doing being creative. Something Bungie hasn't done in a LONG LONG time.
Where did I write, that Bungie didn't create good games? I stated, Bungie hasn't been "CREATIVE" since, they released the original Halo nearly 9 years ago. Take off them fanboy goggles, and get back to me.
I am not "bashing" Gears, I am only stating that Gears 2 would have to have a big "wow" effect or "upscale" of graphics to set the standard for graphics again. Microsoft made a big claim, and they have a shady history when it comes to making promises. I have read the article and am responding to it.
Bioshock
Call of Duty 4
Uncharted
We don't know much about Gears 2 so I won't compare that.
But it's no longer the standard, with games like CoD4 / Bioshock / Uncharted / Heavenly Sword. Gears has to have a big "wow" effect to set the standard again. Or it could be another Halo 3, with bland graphics that aren't an improvement over it's last gen counterpart. Let's wait and see, we could be proven wrong, but not likely.
I hope they do release a game on this, as it's currently only a test of what Ps Eye can do. And guys, the game adds physics etc.. automatically so a tank will feel like a tank. I asked the devs when it was first announced on the blog.
My Sony 20" TV has been running for the past 15 years without a problem.
