This should be interesting, I know a lot of people were looking forward to a spring update. Removing "under performing" XBLA games is a bad idea, I am sure it doesn't hurt Microsoft to keep them around. Developers are not going to be happy with this decision.
I will miss Solid Snake, but I won't mind playing a new character.
To run any application you want.. so why do you have to hack the XMB other then to pirate games? You can rent games on the cheap now, so pirating games is kind of lame at this point.
And it's noticeably faster then Firefox 2.. :)

It's OBVIOUS the first screen is not a screen grab, why would anyone think otherwise?
The Ps3 can display 1080p natively, that is why it doesn't require a UPSCALER. Lazy development can't be justified by a device that can upscale the image. In fact, the ANA chip should be considered a FLAW if anything, it simply means the Xbox 360 can't do certain things "natively" so it needs to fake it.
Oh, and keep in mind the Ps3 can if needed easily upscale images to 1080p. The Cell upscales DVDs / Ps2 and Ps3 games to higher resolutions.

Yeah, they looked better in 07 play-trough, probably because of the lighting on that stage. They look more awesome in the dark with their orange eyes glowing.
To play one game, and that's MGS.. if I knew there would be a limited edition bundle coming out I probably would have waited. But, I got a lot of benefit from the system, plus the 60gb is very hard to find now a days.
Most fans of the game already own a system, like myself. But I am sure there are a TON more who were waiting for the day the LE came out. Anyways, it's good to know there is such a demand for the system. Sometimes, I feel like I am the only fan of the series.....

Folks, "sneak & peak" is a new way to cover. If I am not mistaken this is the first time a cover system has been implemented in 1st person mode. I find it odd, that NO ONE is pointing to this as "innovated" gameplay mod.
Gorilla is creating a new system of gameplay, give them some props.
I am getting more and more impressed with the cover system. Really, it just works.
