Lets be real, there is only one reason why you would want / need RSX access and that's to play bootlag games. Seriously, ranting games is so cheap now, there is no point to bootlegging anymore.
You can still play most games with the disk ejected, as the Ps3 pre-loads some of the data to the HDD. Try it yourself, start playing a game.. eject the disk and continue to play.
Because of it's CONTROL SCHEME.. talk about a dumb article.

MGS 4 is not the last MGS game, it is probably the last game with Snake as the main character. Kojima already stated that if there is demand for another game, he would be more then willing to make it.
Please keep in mind you have to buy all accessories from Microsoft at a ridiculous price.. example 20gb HDD $99 dollars.
We already know the Ps3 can do better, with games like Uncharted / Heavenly Sword. This constant nagging of Ps3 cant do what it has ALREADY SHOWN / DONE is kind of irrating. Stop living in 2007, it's 2008 now.

Keep in mind, the Ps3 hasn't hit the "sweet spot" of $299 ($300). Since demand is strong, Sony doesn't need to reduce the price, but if it does the system well see a considerable rise in sales. And the big titles are hitting soon, too.
As for the Xbox 360, now priced at $199 / $249 etc.. still isn't able to compete with the Wii (mostly do to the game library). Microsoft desperately needs to release some BIG NAME games on the system, and soon. Remember just a few day...
