Past resumes have hinted at game being worked on by Sumo Digital for PS3 for "over a year". Every LBP3 rumor in the past year has hinted that its for PS3 and PS4.

How could indie games buzz be reduced to "nothing"? That's like saying we'll stop getting buzz from NCAA sports because major league teams will stop caring about young talents or that they'll be no buzz for sports athletes from other countries coming to America, or even saying MLB/NBA/NFL/NHL will stop caring about their own developmental leagues.
Also, I really don't want to envision a gaming industry without indies getting bigger and more popular...

I can't believe you think it cost so little to make even these simple games. Even if Coke paid for it, Sony still pointed them in the direction of non-PS hardware with this. Let's say Coke paid 100k for all of these games/apps, isn't that 100k better spent elsewhere? There is literally no way these things cost 5k per game like others have said. That's,....insanely under-estimating the costs of even simple game development.

You can't really believe these games (more than one) cost five thousand dollars to make. I'd peg them at least 500k total and that's being ideal. I'd imagine Coke came to Sony asking for ad space in a game or games and for whatever reason Sony thought this was better than implementing Coke ads in a Vita/PS3 game. They could have released this on PSN for free too but didn't.
It cost Sony real money that could have been better spent on games for Playstation systems or better marketing for their platforms. I don't think this app even suggests to play Playstation hardware, I think it focuses entirely on advertising Coke. It's not like it says "like this Temple Run rip-off with an Uncharted skin? Go buy a Vita/PS3 to play more Uncharted" at all.
So you're fine with all of the money spent on developing these mini-games and the money Coke gave them for advertising wasn't spent on actual Vita game development or at least Vita marketing? Seems like a waste to me personally.

Picked up the Nyko battery that latches on, not the one you screw in. Its pretty good and bumps the stock battery life up to 8-9 hours so if I got this and combined the two I'd likely get 12 hours or so
