Newsflash, it's all tariffs. That's why it's only the Americans who are affected.
@lolehig
I think it's very likely that would they were refering to was their weaponisation of X to spread misinformation, which happened and is still happening. It's not subtle.
It's why we all know a lot about south african conspiracy theories and far right nazi parties in germany.
For ps5 it will be somewhat permanent, there'll probably be a ps6 before the 3 1/2 years has passed. Though actually fixing the issue might be easy enough, I guess the next guy can just annul all tariffs and go back to normal.
Another thing to keep in mind, whenever a goverment program is cut, that benefits the common man, that's even more money they take from you that gets funneled up (trickle up economics, reverse robin hood). People tend to cheer when school children stop getting free food or public libraries close and whatever, but you don't actually get anything back in return for what they take from you.
Eventually the tariffs will go away and then the price will come down.
He could succumb to old age. He could also add more tariffs and then it gets even worse. Who knows. Unfortunately there aren't any grownups at the wheel.
Well, he said he wanted to go back to the 1850s, so it's not super surprising. Though people might be surprised about how shitty the 1850s were for anyone except a handful of rich people.
It sold med on it. Lost interest when I learned that enemies remained dead when you died, but noticed in the demo that they added a toggle that means death as consequences. So I'm back on the hype train. Liked the atmosphere a lot, even if the main characters hair is a bit silly.
It's not free, but the upgrades are included in the Nintendo subscription service thingy.
I love this game, spent hours playing it on steamdeck and now for some reason I've bought it on Switch and now I'm playing entirely different games.
No, he allready clarified that he misspoke.
They allready announced a list: Super Mario Strikers, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Chibi-Robo!, Luigi's Mansion, and Pokémon Colosseum.
Seems to be 1 pr month so there's a while until we see anything beyond this list. Though I guess we'll run out by december.
I assume they'll quietly announce it's demise a day or two after showcasing Forza Horizon 6.
When you notice it's only America, you might realize what's going on.
It's the tariffs that just became a reality today. That's why it's only the US.
I guess this is the start of the tariff fallout.
That's not what this was about. It's about sales and it can hardly be surprising if ms is selling more in the first half of 2025 than sony, when sony hasn't had that many games out in this period.
I mean first party titles in the last 6 month.
There's no evidence that they are sucking engagement away. If Ghost of Yotai underperforms, then maybe, but until then it's probably a net benefit. Sony gets a cut for every game sold. If the platform is prospering, that's good for business.
Not too surprising considering Sony hasn't released anything and MS has released several games in the past 6 months on the platform. Would be weird if sonys old games outperformed all these ports and new titles.
I'm not so sure, I don't think most of our tech goes through the US. Perhaps if/when the American economy crashes, then we'll probably start noticing.
