This is my cycle of owning a game.
First I complete the single player mode
Next I will play online(if available)
Then, depending on how many trophies I have so far, I will pursue trophies..
If I don't have more than 40% of the trophies by the time I complete the single player and have my fill of multiplayer then I usually ignore the trophies..
The 3 games that I have platinums in I had nearly 70% of the trophies by the time I had completed ...
I like how the author of this article is saying that people aren't allowed to enjoy trophy/achievement hunting because he doesn't see the point in them... Umm last time I checked i'm an individual who has a free will and can enjoy whatever I fell like... Dumb article is dumb..
$10 says that if this was the other way around you would have been on here blowing your 360 trumpet and clamoring at just how great live is.. Typical hypocrisy...
ROFL LMAO wow you literally made me laugh out loud...
@Noticeably_FAT
Reasons why your comment is entirely flawed
1)Improved graphics.
2)Smoother frame rates.
3)Achievements/Trophies
4)If you bothered to read the article the developer lowered the file size to meet the 2gig requirement
5)This game was released on the original xbox which had half the fanbase that the 360 does.
Case and point the is all Microsofts fault. If Sony doesn't charge for their online and no file size lim...
Why is it that a company who charges for its online features would have a 2 gig file size limit but the company who doesn't charge has no limit?? That's odd...
mine did the same thing.. Thats crazy, I hope people listen...
I bought a plus membership almost immediately after they came out to take advantage of the bonus 3 month offer then the psn whent down and I recieved an additional month and there was something else that caused me to get another month.. So all in all I paid $40 for 17 months of awesomeness!!! My plus membership paid itself off a lOOOOOOng time ago :D
In total I've purchased close to 50 ps3 retail copies and 10 or so from psn.. I love my ps3 and now that psn is central to my gaming life I couldn't imagine playing on anything but a playstation... Cannot wait for my vita to get here and then the ps4... :D
27 years old here.. First started on the nes, fell in love with the super nintendo, moved onto the 64 and ps1, achieved hardcore status with the ps2, and a proud launch model 60 gig ps3 and 160g slim ps3 owner... I will be a gamer until the day I die..
America is the land of networking.. If not for the fact that someone could throw a rock in any direction and hit someone with a 360 then it wouldnt be as popular.. Microsoft won the media battle and its the only thing keeping them relevant.. I know that 360 owners would say that live is just that good but honestly if everyone was on the ps3 then thats exactly where they'd be. All of that fluff that live has is just bullet points for PR goons to boast about.. When it comes down to it you w...
I bought the hardened edition so that I could get the 1 year elite membership which includes all dlc for free.. I have never purchased a single piece of call of duty dlc bc I think its a rip off but the hardened package for mw3 was really enticing and a chance to try out elite for $10 cheaper then the retail price.. But honestly I've got to say that mw3 has been A HUGE LETDOWN for me so far.. Its more frustrating then it is fun... If not for my elite membership I would have given up on MW...
ROFL Honey Badger doesn't give a SH#T
I like A
I like how the xbox community isn't up in arms over the fact that microsoft is wasting all of that money from live on timed dlc exclusivity instead of developing more IP's
@r1sh12
Actually the ps3 DOES have a deidcated elite app I downloaded it the first day I had the game..
OHH ok cool thanks for the clarification.. Yea I agree with you, Nolan North is their poster boy lol...
I saw on here or on the playstation blog where north suppossedly confirmed he was working on The Last Of Us after some people noticed that he guy in the trailer sounded eerily like North.. I could be mistaken though, but how awesome would it be if he was...
It's funny because as soon as I saw "KOTAKU" I immediately started to prepare myself to defend the vita.. It shows you how conditioned we are, I really did think they were going to rip the vita apart. Instead they praised it, wow. Despite the obvious jabs at nintendo lol.. I hope the public takes note the vita is legit and its almost upon us..
Well thats what the media wants you to believe.. Despite surging sales, one of the best single year lineups of games I personally have ever seen, PSN getting even better, and a $50 price drop the media still finds a way to talk trash.. All I know I'm happy I've been a ps3 owner since the very begining...
