People are talking about exclusives.. You can't boast about multiplats that can be played on a competing platform with a larger catalog of high profile exclusives.. Once again you are trying to explain away microsofts short comings while sony is martyred for every little thing they do... It's a sad reality that the 360's fanbase don't hold microsoft to a higher standard...

XBOX Live gold fee's are the one thing that has kept me from purchasing a 360.. I've been tempted to buy one on a couple of occassions only to talk myself out of it because of the live fees... As the two above me stated there hasn't been any doom and gloom articles stating that the 360 was dead in the water because people didnt like the fact that you had to buy expensive proprietary accessories like the hard drives and wifi adaptors... There is a huge double standard in this industry and microsoft gets away with alot of "stupid"
I'm so sick of this "lack of included memory stick, and cost of memory stick" complaint.. Nobody seemed to mind paying outrageous prices for a wifi adaptor for the 360 or the cost of that retarded add on analog stick for the 3ds but people want to cry about having to buy memory sticks for the vita?? You purveyed exactly how I was feeling in sentence form.. I wholly agree with you, when asked why I support sony so much I couldnt really say why but you said it for me.. They might not always make the best decisions but they make some of the best hardware around and they treat their consumers like intelligent consumers and not kids or naive soccer moms.. At the end of the day you cant argue with how much they do for us as consumers...
Sony uses proprietary media so as to save on costs(dont have to purchase third party) and mostly to cut down on piracy... But of course they get castrated because of this... If sony decided to use a simple sd card for their games then piracy would be a HUGE issue and they would be ripped apart for that... Nothing sony does is ever good enough for the media...
Billions? Umm they spent 500 million developing the kinect plus marketing and they've sold 10million at 150 a pop thats not billions.. They are no where near a billion yet..

Its the ps3 vs 360 scenario all over again.. The sony platform is the technically superior product but because it launched later, smaller catalog of games, and higher entry price the sales are behind the competition.. I never expected the Vita to outsell the 3ds, especially out of the gate..
