@gamingdroid I know that you like to think of the move as a failure but attach rates for a mostly casual device on a "core" focused system were never going to be world beating.. You might not see it as cockiness but it is.. Nintendo has a history of cockiness and that got them in trouble with the core gamers..
You say that they march to the beat of their own drum yet when announcing the WII U they were trumpeting how the wii is much more powerful then the ps3 and the 360.. If they weren't so worried about sony or microsoft then why are they pushing hd and specs all of a sudden?? They didn's seem to care about hd with the wii.
I was a huge nintendo fan in the days of the NES and SNES on through the 64.. Why? Because nobody anywhere could touch the level of quality games that they routinely pumped out and they had the third party on lock..

You know that they have different teams workin on the console versions and they can release the pc version whenever they feel like it..
They wont delay the pc version in order to have a common release across all platforms..

It seems like sony rely's on the core userbase, who are always on top of the latest news in the industry, to support its products and wait for that knowledge to trickle down to the common consumer... From my vantage sony doesnt like to spend money on advertising and just waits for the word of mouth to do the job.. Not saying its good or bad they do it just that way just making and observation...
@multi I really dont think sony's gaming division is losing money especially whenever ps3's are selling very well, psp's are still selling, and every ps2 they continue to sell is straight profit.. I really dont think sony uses the income from the gaming division to support its other divisions like tv's, cameras, phones etc... As far as I was aware the gaming division is doing well.. I would like to see proof that the playstation division is struggling....
WHy? Every ps2 sold is straight profit for sony which can then be turned and pumped into the ps3, vita, or ps4 development.. Every time I see ps2's still being sold I get really excited...

I have two move wands.. I've had every intention of buying at least 1 navigation controller and the sharpshooter just never got around to doing it.. Vita isn't helping that cause either lol.. When all is said and done i'm spending close to $500 on my vita lol...
@harzardman If you bothered to read our comments you would have seent that we explained why the ps3 doesnt have cross game chat, despite sony trying to bring it to us... Also the ps3 DOES have custom music in game, its optional however.. They let the developers choose whether to implement it whereas microsoft forces developers to have that feature... If you want to blame snyone for not having custom music during your favorite game just flip over the box and find the developer.. Blame them no...

It sounds like you are aiming your crosshairs at sony like alot of media sites... Sony has been trying for several years now to implement cross game chat but they came clean and said that no matter how much they would like to they cannot due to ram issues..

Its easy to justify a 9 dollar game on a device you already own and use every day as opposed to a dedicated console where the games cost 60 dollars.. DO the math. If I sell oranges at 10 dollars a pound and you sell them at 3 dollars a pound, regardless of quality, which do you think will sell more???
