Why is it that people bicker and fight over console supremacy, attack one another, and all the while all 3 camps cry victim? People fail to realize that media outlets are thriving off of the console wars.. They purposefully play us against each other to flame these heated debates and in turn it not only drives up site hits but the game companies see a level of fanaticism rarely seen outside of sports... I love my console of choice, and even used to participate in all of these heated debates ...

Halo isnt mass market appeal.. The same 8 million people buy halo every time a new one is released.. Mass market appeal would equate to exponentially growing sales.. Just because halo managed to carve out a nice niche of original xbox owners doesnt make it mass market...

Sony is playing the hd remakes very smart.. If they took them and just polished them up a bit and charged full price for them then yea thats just milking.. But they put alot of work into them. Upgraded visuals and framerate, trophies, and the best part they are 30-40 dollars with most having multiple titles on 1 single blu ray.. Thats a win if you ask me...

There's nothing wrong with making money.. You're spinning the argument in favor of activision.. The problem is that activision does as little as possible and reaps money off of it.. They swallow up smaller companies and disolve them, they've found a play formula that is addictive to millions of gamers and they take full advantage of that, and charging $15 for a map pack is not only insane its highway robbery... They refuse to fix all of the issues with their games and they release...
Never been a halo fan so this isn't for me but I love the idea of taking classic games and updating the visuals and performance and adding extra features in all for a sweet price...

I like the way sony is handling this.. They arent just taking every halfway decent selling franchise that was on the ps2 and trying to make a quick buck... They are being careful and selective and its adding to the value of the ps3 brand.. I'm in love with my God of War collection and grinning from ear to ear over the God of War origins collection... I bought a psp just for the two psp titles and now I get to play them in glorious hd with TWO joysticks and trophies.. Also looking forward ...
