Ok and? You RENT the right to play the online component of your games... You sit here and mock PS+ subscribers but you are paying more money for a privilege that shouldn't cost you a dime.. But 360 owners will defend that point till the death... I will never understand that logic...

@Morganfell We should be picking game of the year based off of the emotional connection and the enjoyment we get out of the game not based off of obscure technical details.. I've always agreed with you and had your back through the years but I feel we shouldnt scrutinize details like that when considering GOTY.. Aside from the cartoonish aesthetic with hardly any MSAA at all the multiplayer is a mess right now.. It worked perfectly the first 20 some odd hours but once the flood of players came it turned into a disaster.. You will sit in a pre game lobby and the room will be full and it will say "Finding more players to balance teams". Also you cant play TDM right now it wont launch a game at all.. Plus it's lagging soo bad and hit detection is a joke.. About to ask for my money back... ...
Definitely don't agree with this score.. I think that everything this game does right far outshines it's hiccups..
This is quickly becoming one of my favorite games not only of the generation but ever.. Instant classic and one that I feel every gamer should play... All of the attention to detail is what makes this game shine and the shear size of the environment is breathtaking...
ALl of that RAM is for OS and multitasking purposes.. They aren't shoehorning large doses of RAM into the system for graphical purposes..
The ps3 and 360 both run our current gen games with 500mb of shared ram and the games looke great...

Graphics are just a bullet point in fanboy arguments.. Granted I love beautiful graphics but once you've become ingrossed in a game the last thing you notice is pretty graphics.. I"ve already started putting money aside for my next gen console.. I am watiting for both Sony and Microsoft to release their specs and details so I can make my decision. But based on this generation of consoles I am heavily favoring the ps4 for reliability, exclusives, and because I have over 6 years worth of PSN experience that I want to carry over :P
It plays more like burnout paradise but the controls are a little "tighter".
I'm Loving the game so far.. I'm #4 on the most wanted list and not in a rush to reach number 1... I'm having a blast just driving around and exploring.
I think most people will like that you dont have to win certain races to unlock cars you just drive around and find them parked on the side of the road or tucked into corners, drive up to it, hop in, drive off.....
Loving this game right now.. I like that you don't have to beat "X" race for "Y" car.. I drove right up to my coveted Viper GTS hopped in and had a blast.. Aside from that the driving mechanics, albeit arcadey, are buttery smootha and a blast.. Pulling off massive drifts is a breeze..

I had trouble with 1 chase where I just couldnt seem to shake the cops but I was in a slower car.. Since then I have evaded a bunch of chases.. It helps if you memorize the map for shortcuts, jumps, hard turns that the cops can't make etc... My favorite cop dodging tactic is to get on the interstate and just outrun them... Unless its an online multiplayer game then It has the opposite effect on me! I broke a dual shock 3 controller in half like you would break a loaf of bread... It was ugly

Agreed, just look at starhawks numbers a little over 100k? even some of the worst ps3 exclusives have done better then hat and starhawk is an awesome game... I received the single player campaign for free because of playstation plus and I will probably be buying the multiplayer via Digital Download and chances are there are alot of people who fall under that..
