The $50 for PS+ is not applicable to current Plus members such as myself so again I am paying $100 less then XBONE purchasers. You cannot use PS+ to try and balance the equation if you aren't including Live... There are tons of variables in this department that change the initial investment.
Kinect has proven to be useful for nothing more then voice control. There isn't a single Kinect game that justifies the forced inclusion and subsequent $100 price difference. Just like sixaxis on the ps3 proved to be a nice augmentation to games instead of a new control standard Kinect just isn't worth it.
I applaud Naughty Dog's ability to create a compelling story that has a satisfying resolution without have to resort to a "Rainbows and sunshine" happy ending. We as fans got to see Joel and Ellie make it through but throwing in a healthy dose of uncertainty for their future.
So since you seem to me more "In the loop" than the rest of us please explain the benefits of the DRM, 24h check in, and Required Kinect.
Agreed! If Sony had come forward with similar policies I would have reacted just as harshly. Policies just like this only serve to benefit the corporations that impose them.
I would have given this article merit IF Microsoft had done the right thing, come forward with an appropriate response detailing exactly how these policies benefit us.

People complain because Microsoft and Nintendo have a bad habit of only releasing new iterations of already established franchises.. When is the last time that Microsoft or Nintendo released a new IP? Sony pumps out new IP's almost to the point where some of them underperform because there is so many games to play.
Just look at The Last of Us. Here we are in the twilight of the current gen and Sony bets big on a new IP and they knocked it out of the park. Later this year...

If this truly was the case then I wouldn't fare better with shooters on my ps3 then I do with the 360.. I have BLOPSII on both consoles and my KDR is much better on the PS3 and I have 3 times as much play time on the ps3.. Both controllers work great for shooters there's no added advantage or immediate improvement with one over the other.. ITS ALL PREFERENCE
Thank you for saying this! I'm in the same boat, large hands but I let the controller sit in my hands and I have Hitchhikers thumbs so the tips of my thumbs curl up and the DS3 sticks just work well for me..
I have very large hands and have never had any issues using the DualShock setup.. In fact I prefer it.. the curvature of the 360 pad conforms to my hands well but because my entire hand makes contact I tend to have sweaty palms after only a few minutes..

Ps+ is connected with PSN which is continuing on to the ps4. So your concern is moot until the day that PSN servers shut down..

This is funny to me.. I have very large hands and the DS3 is not only comfortable to me but I have never had issues with the stick layout.. In fact the stiffness and the layout of the 360 sticks causes hand cramps for me... My only complaint about the DS3 is the dead zone in the sticks.. But even still it's negligible..
