@Statix Again this is OPINION considering that I do much better on my DS3 in regards to shooters then I do with the 360 pad... If there TRULY was an advantage you'd think I would do better on the 360 but I don't...
I seriously don't know why people think the R2/L2 buttons are terrible.. I love them and have never had issue with them... I love that they have a nice light feel to them and they don't have half a mile of travel like the 360's triggers...
@midnightEr20C_SfF
I own both a PS3 and 360 as well I own a copy of BLOPSII on each and I fair MUCH better on the PS3 version due to the L1/R1 setup as well as the better joysticks.. The triggers on the 360 pad have way to much travel and they are stiff, the joysticks have "dead zones" and they are stiff additionally I really don't like the offset layout.. All in all I'm a huge proponent of the current DS3.
@statix I own BLOPSII on both the 360 and the PS3 and I do much better with the L1/R1 setup as opposed to the triggers on the 360.. 360 triggers have a lot of travel and they're stiff..
I've always fared better using the DS3 in shooters as opposed to the 360's pad.. If "those triggers weren't up to the job like Xbox controllers" then why do I do better with the DS3? The triggers on the 360 pad were stiff to me and I much prefer the joysticks (layout and feel) on the DS3..
I'm a large guy with large hands and the DS3 has been nothing but amazing for me.. I rarely if ever have my fingers slip off the triggers and the I much prefer the placement and feel of the joysticks over the 360 pad.. Can't wait to get my hands on the DS4 and see how it feels..
@Frigid Yes that's why there have been numerous reports of Microsoft having to underclock the gpu on the XBONE.
When is the last time that a Kinect game was worth a damn? As far as gaming is concerned the Kinect is a gimmick.. The only good use for the Kinect is voice control...
You do realize that the PS4 will have 2 second screen options right? First is the Vita second is a companion app a la Smart Glass on smart phones and tablets...
If this were truly the case then why is it that the PS3 exclusives easily bested the 360? Especially since the 360 had the better gpu with a unified structure yet they both had 512mb ram?
Lol at the disagree^^^^
There has already been write ups done that detail the fact that our internet infrastructure just isn't robust enough to support Microsoft's claims of offloading complicated processing to the cloud. Basically all that it will be capable of handling is small processing jobs that don't require constant and instant refreshing..
@nukeitall
Where in my statement did I say it would be free? I never did.. All I said was that Gaikai is a vehicle for Sony to deliver backwards compatibility without expensive hardware emulation... This is a great feature seeing as there is no backwards compatibility whatsoever with XBONE and the Azure let alone hardware wise.. Lets be clear Gaikai IS a "cloud" service just not in the vein that Microsoft's Azure is purported to be.. Can Sony implement cloud com...

They bought Gaikai so they could integrate it with PS+ and have a delivery method for their entire back catalog of PlayStation games without shoving expensive emulation hardware in the box and driving up the cost.. They didn't buy Gaikai for cloud computing.
Hmm who am I going to believe? Respawn that has a contract with MS or devs that don't have a vested interest in TEH CLOUDZ? I'm sorry but Respawn and first party devs like turn10 are the only ones that have said anything positive so far about this cloud computing.
Uncharted 4 or TLOU2 would melt my heart!!
Fair argument but I can't help but think if Microsoft can shed this negative stigma post E3. I mean they were blatantly called out on live tv by Sony and they reaction was very intense by public. I don't know if all of the MS marketing money can undo the damage. Maybe they can but its looking bleak so far...
Again people have THE CHOICE to do so... It isn't forced on everyone regardless of whether they want a vita or not. You are missing the point of everyone's rage at Microsoft. If you want an XBONE you have to pay the additional $100 with Kinect included even if you have no intentions of using it..
Do me a favor. Pick up your key board, hold firmly, now proceed to slam it into your face repeatedly. Congratulations you just managed to type a much better response with your face than you typed above.
