In all honesty, live is a good service.. Is it really that muich better then the offerings of sony? I think that all comes down to preference. I cant say yay or nay but I can make a strong argument that they are pretty equal..
I came to this conclusion mostly by my own experience with both services and through mature and sometimes not so mature debates with others... I feel that the few extras that live offers that psn does not is negated by the fact that you have to pay to...

Actually If you bothered to watch the entire video, all 4 parts, they revealed alot of new mechanics to the game... I really like the placement of the context sensitive buttons that flash onscreen.. Now each button is place on the far edges of the screen according to its placement on the controller... If sony gives us what we the gamers want, which is a CE that contains both original games on a blu ray, well then consider my purchase his bonus as well.... actually the answer is quite simple.. The reason that so many people get defensive is because of cost.. This new generation of consoles was soo damn expensive to invest in. I personally have close too 2000 invested into my ps3.... console=600, 20+ games with a rough estimate of 1200, two controllers at 50 a piece, external hard drive, and thats not counting my 13 blu ray movies... Now imagine you spent all of that money on a console and its future is threatened by some pre-pubescent zit face...
