apparently you missed that little detail known as a weighted companion cube.
I dont know if you've heard yet but the dlc for gtaiv is only a few new missions.. its not a new island and its not san andreas... all of that was fodder and people guessing at wat the content would be... Microsoft just used the dlc as leverage to get more people to buy the 360 version.. We all knew from the get go that not alot of people are going to buy the dlc it was just a cheap parlor trick to have people under the assumption that they were buying the "superior" version...
I hate the fact that sony cant eliminate this stigma that is surrounding the ps3. Viral internet marketing is the #1 source of this. Regardless of just how good the ps3 is and how diligently sony has been adressing every issue the ps3 has, weak minded and uninformed consumers buy into the propoganda. take xboxlive and psn for instance. xbl is only slightly better then the psn. Of course that varies depending on the person and wat they are looking for. But feature for feature dollar for dollar...

Launch model 60gig.. Had it nearly a year until I knocked some heavy junk off a shelf and it struck my beloved ps3... BLU-Ray drive was broken.. So i got a warranty swapped ps3 and its running like forrest gump..... Momma said life is like a ps3.

Alot of this had to do with the sheer profits they continue to reap off of the ps2 but that just shows sony's knowledge of economics... Seeing is more than observing with the eye's my friend... You say that RRoD is a defensive meassure used by the anti 360 crowd. Though it may be a commonly used tactic it is not a fabricated event.. It is rooted in fact... You retort with this side by side comparisson of games whenever 90% of the cross plat. games are generally on par with one another.. RRoD is fact, 360 games being superior however, is not. It's an opinion. You cannot dispute fact with opinion... Developers have no incentive...

Its kinda ironic that the 360 didnt even have an hdmi port until summer 07.. nearly a year after the ps3 launched.. and the 360 still doesnt come with an hdmi cable... I cannot believe this debate is still raging.. Ok look the ps2 destroyed its competition. It was selling nearly 20m consoles a year on average. The wii is the only console that has come close to this target. Alot of the wii owners are true casuals. Kids and older adults. The wii is drawing in players that have never picked up a ps controller or xbox controller.. The odds of a chunk of these players stepping up to another console is high.. You would be right under the assumption that sales stay where they are. But the ps3's sales have been going up(slightly falling in some areas) where as the 360's sales have been nearly free falling in every major region of the world.. Wait until next holiday shopping season and I'm sure that gap will be shrunken.

It has nothing to do with the monitary equivilance... Its all about priniciple. Why do I have to not only pay for my console, pay for my game, and pay for internet service to then have to turn around and pay to play that game online??? Its microsoft nickel and diming you to death...
I've said this multiple times now but now I really dont think you have a ps3.. I've been playing warhawk since launch on a dsl connection with no lags.. Dont sit here and tell me there are lags... Warhawk is run off of a dedicates server that is ultra efficient... Why are you fabricating stories to lord over the ps3??? The worst kind of fanboy is one that lies...

First they knowingly launched a broken product, ignored the problem for the first year, blamed it on the customer and then convienently stepped and was praised as a savior.. Why is it that the ps3 outsold the 360 for 2007? Why is it that it is beating the 360 in every region even N.A. for january and february?
