Political undertones and Subconscious fears are part of everything in media. They don't typical detract from the mediums but add to it and give it a sense of drive.
I do think it's a bit more prominent in the metro series but maybe I see it that way from reading the books before playing the games.

The UK is generally Xbox's best territory in Europe too

I came to say Bayonetta because of her Bizzare reputation of sex appeal and intentional disproportion but it's been said so I'll go next in line.

Nico Bellick of GTA IV fame. Looks like someone melted Jason Statham and put on a bad foreign accent. My dislike of both himself and Roman made that game a chore to play.

There's a hell of a line up for 2019 and if a few games we are holding out for make it that year then there's a strong chance it could be

I might cheat this one a little and pick a title instead. Mass Effect.
That game had so many absolutely incredible characters with Garrus, Wrex, Tali and Liara among a roster of great species and races that stuck with me for years. Each fully fleshed out and lovable.

(If I picked one normally I'd be boring and say Snake from Metal Gear, The flowy bandana and grizzly voice are too good!)

In some way or another I think fighting games need a rework. I'm not even sure how they'd do it because there's not a lot that can be changed. Maybe make between fights more involving in some way. I am choosing this genre because of my reaction to the Mortal Kombat announcement. When they revealed it at the VGAs I wasnt bothered! A game that was once a favourite of mine all through childhood and my teenage years has gone stale to me. Make another Shaolin Monks instead and mix it u...

The Resi 2 REmake really does look to remedy that though. The ammo scarcity and constant fear of the Tyrant are what we have asked Capcom for years to go back to

I dont get it!

If people say they don't care about it now, what makes you think they would give a rats ass if it was on another system they don't have?

I think you got that backwards pal

I'm funny in that I choose shooter as my genre because of their easy pick up and play nature but my favourite game titles are a mixture of survival horror, stealth and RPG games. But I find them so involving that I get put off playing a new one sometimes because I feel I don't have 100s of hours to invest. Therefore I'm more likely to go with the latest multiplayer shooter to play with friends and move on from when the next one hits

Shooters. I like the pick up and play anytime ease of them. There's a strong social aspect too. I typically prefer 3rd person but 1st person can be good too

I was even going to answer today because every single comment above is for the same grievance I have but I'm determined to answer each question each day throughout the course of this event. Microtransactions have destroyed some games. Even some entries in series that I absolutely adore.

Capcom Debuted DMC at the Xbox conference but the Debuted Resident Evil 2 at playstations. Seems like they just wanted to spread some joy and give both games some lime light really. No conspiracy needed

It's been an ongoing meme in Nintendo groups I've been part of for about a year now

Maybe so then. I haven't seen ANY of that yet. I'm not far into the game though

Isn't this a joke from inside the Nintendo community itself? I think it went over a few heads here

I'm playing Breath of the Wild now actually and I like some of the small touches like rolling rocks or cutting down trees to make a bridge. Funny enough one of my favourite little things is when you choose food to hold for cooking or such you see Link carry around the ingredients. I don't think as a whole though that's a great example of what I mean by physics based gameplay

Physics altering seems to have taken a huge back step. Last gen we had Star Wars Force Unleashed open a world of possibilities when it came to rag doll physics as well as force lifting objects, the PS2 before that had Psi-ops and Second Sight as examples of the physics puzzling and interaction with objects you could move. Half Life's gravity gun, Portal. Games were going in different directions with the think outside the box games. Then all of a sudden everything became gritty and serious...

Mutant going on game pass saved me buying it this morning. I had planned on getting it for the PlayStation but this works out better anyway

Middle Earth Shadow of Mordors Nemesis system absolutely gobsmacked me. I thought it was a genuine leap in to the next generation playing it at the time. I loved how randomly generated generals could heavily influence your game so much depending on your encounters with them. Some could become genuinely tough enemies learning from their experiences with you.

At the time I thought every game was going to adopt this system now because it was so good and it was going to grow an...
