Fortnite save the world released in July.
Battle Royale in September. Splitting hairs here though it still missed that window
Most of 2018s most succesfull games have no games as a service features so no! There'll be room for titles like that too but hardly the media norm.
Most GaaS titles aren't actually performing all that well, There's little more than a handful that truly make it.
Well there's a nonsense headline!
What praise Epic do get for Fortnite comes from it's constant support and upkeep... so they should just stop and let it die out?!
That's not the same at all. Running time restrictions and budgets are key factors there. They aren't being held back with the intention of selling later
It might have to do with Cross Play effecting more numbers of people. Players from both sides would see a benefit in Cross platform online play with larger communities etc,
Free to play doesn't bother most who already pay or PlayStation players don't care if Microsoft havebto pay for Free to Play games. It doesn't concern them.
I think they should be free and I get your point though, it is ironic with a few particular people
I followed the link expecting some trivial and insignificant detail to be missing but no. To be fair Subtitles are quite an important feature to have
That's exactly what I can't get my head around
I'm guessing it's because many disagree with what he said
Microsoft had a great E3 2018 but for the few years prior to it they had quite a bad run. And developed a new reputation for it.
Sony skipping next year because they aren't ready to show what they have in store yet is already bubbling up hype. Much more so than if they were to attend and show little or nothing. I don't see how that's such a bad move really.

"Most "children" can't even read properly, let alone follow along a text based adventure that requires managing stats and items"
I was 7 when Pokemon Red released and I played it relentlesly. Cleared it a number of times as did most kids my age at the time.
Yes it's okay to enjoy something you like as an adult if you please but Pokemon is very much designed with kids in mind first and foremost
I love collecting trophies but I won't let them rule me.
I have 62 platinums and at the moment I'm 1 trophy away from the Plat in Metro Last light. Have been for weeks but I'm too invested in Blops4 and Red Dead to finish it right now. I will when I'm bothered to. I have a fair list of games in my collection with less than 30% trophy completion because I won't bother with them if I'm not enjoying earning them
Mojang won't ever see that success again when Minecraft fades. They know that. It was a far better idea to sell to Microsoft while the going was good. I would have done the same in their shoes I guess
Really?! It's an extreme scenario but you get my point.
I hope you never said that a movie or tv show was disappointing or a waste of time to watch. Nobody forced you to do so.
I'm just sorry I got so stubborn and engaged with yourself and Atom instead of Aconnellan and Rainslacker who seemed to actually want a conversation
Mutant Year Zero going to game pass! If it's day one that is. I'm all over that!
I can't speak for Pwnmaster but if they're like myself it's because I don't feel I got the value of the purchase from my Xbox one S so I'm certainly not going to run out and buy an X.
"The thing with people like you"
Oh people like me who... enjoy celebrating their hobby by watching fun live events?
Who were disappointed in a lacklustre showing on a Saturday evening?
Who like pineapple on their pizza?
You don't know me pal so don't pretend to. And in regards not being forced to watch it. Stupid statement! I watched an hour of it before giving up.
If you ever g...
I wish I hadn't wasted my time. That's the point. I do like small events like this. I didn't expect much but still looked forward to watching it. Even Nintendo directs get me excited. However throwing money at a studio or two but not having anything to show for it and announcing a load of old games available on a subscription service is not worth holding an event and generating a buzz for
No but a tweet would have sufficed. Creating a public event wasted everybodies time and patience
It bored me to absolute tears and I'm sorry I wasted an hour of my weekend on it at all. It was seriously pointless
Have they announced the studios yet?
It seems like they're rushing to market now though. Even the Ray Tracing tech they've been flagshipping isn't ready yet.
I was disappointed by what felt like a lack of content in Battlefield 1 though. So I'm waiting in this one. Especially since I know it'll drop to a fraction of the price early in the new year.
This is the first Battlefield since Bad Company 2 I haven't bought at release.
