I completely agree! RE4 doesn't need a remake. It seems to have another remaster every change of season. And it's not that outdated to begin with.
3, Code Veronica, Dino Crisis, Outbreak with actual online play, there's so much material Capcom could mine that RE4 seems like an absolute waste

Yeah... The biggest reason I was interested in game at all was that it wasn't just another third person shooter
I bought it on the GameCube when it came out and never bought it again. Whenever I want to play it I just boot up the GameCube. I've never been in the habit of buying games repeatedly or remasters unless I don't have the original.

It's titles like this getting crossplay that are more important than Call of Duty or Destiny, etc, etc.
Smaller title that aren't going to have a huge player count to begin with. If they can pool together the players on all consoles then it'll keep the game from dying off quickly.

Seems a few studios are more than willing to go this route. That should tell you all you need to know about Steam from their side of things. A change may be needed
