What else will fill my other hand up faster?!

I think the author hides his autism well. Really, 'thousands' to separate PS3 components? I'd love to sell stuff to this guy. Anyway, as a happy owner myself, I still think it needs a price cut. No one asked Sony to put all this nice stuff in a black box, but thank you anyway. Oh, and if you payed way too much for a launch console that's your issue, not de facto for the rest of us.

However, I think I can kinda understand from the perspective of keeping great support and feat...

This is an interesting development for PS3, and not the first time it's happened. Very funny about the '360 beta' aspect.

Why don't they cut the prices of these HDDs in half? Isn't the software supposed to supplement the profits? You can't tell me it costs them that much to place it in a plastic shell and insert a generic key.

Sounds like they are trying to rebuild their credibility by being more controversial and 'edgy' with their reviews.

This makes me think harder about getting into the whole Rock Band thing, although I'll wait and see what GH offers before taking the plunge.

That's the great thing about America... a turd by any other name can sell for more.

I still respect what you're doing, and I do think you may reach some folks who don't go slagging through forums. However, I couldn't make it past the 20-minute mark. I would be interested in what you had to say if you stayed off the forums for a week first. Everything in your video seems to just put a face to what every current debate is about and already said. No hate here, just some neutral observation - do what you wish.

I understand what he's saying about the tv medium and the last half century, but c'mon guy, discounting the next gen console because it still uses tv? Then he says companies can only increment their hardware - so technology will asleep for the next five years? Who pays this guy, because many of us could do his job at guessing sh*t. By my interpretation of his logic, today's consoles must be only some increments better than 8-bit because of the image medium (tv). Oh, and this gen can event...

... exactly!

I could see adding an internal wireless usb kb/mouse receiver and using it to play some older PC games as well as surf the internet. I may consider this for an upcoming project.

There are many valid points that M$ would take into consideration for the benefit of all of us. I recently upgraded my system with Vista Home Premium 64-bit and even though it has been a learning experience with some complicated driver setup for stability, I am overall happy with it. However, I am for the first time excited about Windows 7 like I was with XP. The modular approach seems to behoove the architecture for a better, more linux-like experience that I think is needed.

Why don't they create a device that allows you to utilizes the shapes of snowflakes? Those are all different, right? You could roll your PC out in a snowstorm and encrypt your hard drive in seconds.

Seriously, though, this is pretty neat. Could you imagine in the future when flashing light on a photo sensor could safeguard your data?

By that logic, you shouldn't play this on modern equipment. I think you're missing the point.

Kudos to Capcom for stonewashing those jeans.

That was pretty awesome, but what was with Natalie Portman? I choked on my cereal when that thing came up.

I remember the excitement of upgrading from my 286-16 with 2MB RAM to a 486DX2-66 with 8MB RAM, and installing DOOM on my massive 520MB hard drive. Couple that with an ISA SoundBlaster card and fraggin over a null-modem cable was all there was. Never could afford a Voodoo card, though!

I appreciate what you're trying to do. You made (I think) some intelligible arguments and thoughtful opinions.

On top of that it's emulated. I'm actually shocked it even tries.
