I'm not convinced of the authenticity of this video. It looks like smooth, slick graphics dumbed down to 480i.
I tried to click out and read the article before posting, but the page loaded without the article. Sorry, not tricking me for another hit.
I like the narcissistic links under the Main Menu - "Meet the - Hiphopgamer", "Career Highlights". Really? My mom just kept a scrapbook with pictures.
I remember a quote from Malibu's Most Wanted - "..damn fool, I said you could have a snack, not the whole kitchen.." . Or something like that. ...
rotflol... this made my day. I may buy this for the mod alone. Ooohhh yyeeeuh!

I believe he was specifying which console he was purchasing for, but my english could be bad. Shields down.
Come up for air much?
Talk about realism... is that a leaked pic from Dead Rising 2?
Can't wait to try out ext4. Oh, and I'm glad I wasn't the only one with the firefox issue - I was about to pull my hair out. Now I just rub my case and tell Ubuntu everything will be alright.
She looks like a battletoad.
Wow, I still don't know any more about DDR3 than I could find shopping for modules on newegg.
Sounds like a router configuration issue. I had the same problem at first when I installed a new one, but figured out what I did wrong (emphasis on I) and it works flawlessly. As for system restore, I've never had to use it with my computing habits. I am guessing you left all the bloatware that comes with a new computer. Get someone to overhaul your system and you'll be much happier, I promise.
I'd just as soon cleanse my laptop with a fresh install of linux and save all that money for more hardware I can choose.

Linux drivers aren't really an issue anymore, unless you have special hardware. The distros nowadays are pretty good at Plug and Play. Just be sure to download/activate the nVidia/ATI driver for your card for all the desktop effects. I've been using Ubuntu extensively for the past several months, and after compiling my own kernel I feel pretty comfortable doing most everything. You just have to get used to the little quirks and ways of doing things and you'll really appr...
I like the 'unintentional oversight' of DVD playback functionality. How about an 'accidental activation'.
This is FUD to jack up prices on eBay. If/when CFW on the 3000 is released, you won't need this disc as a downgrader will be released. If someone is serious about 'homebrew' anyway they wouldn't have a 3000.
I doubt his drive is formatted to FAT16, unless he's running Windows 3.1.
@Rice, try posting a screenshot or a detailed list of your partition table. Yes, you need to create a new partition to be safe.
So I just went back and reread some old news. Apparently they replaced the EE with the software emulator and kept the graphics chip - this allowed them to cut costs with a redesign and keep functionality. I suppose later they just realized the redesign was no longer functional for PS2 emulation.
@12.2
OK, on X86 architecture the hardware requirements are steep considering what the software emulation has to achieve, but the PS3 is a bit more advanced than a mid-rang...
They seem too concerned about their ability to troubleshoot a linux box for the consumer. I mean, don't they have a recovery disc anyway? Someone new to linux wouldn't be mucking around in the CLI, and a savvy user wouldn't trash the system. Linux's user model isn't designed to be easy to break things anyway.
It's better they offer it with no OS and the distro disc of choice.
Yeah, maybe, I know. I'm just thinking about MY wallet. :)
That's the beauty of the internet - anonymous blasting. Seriously, this game is great. I can see why people complain about the controls after so many games have passed with the twitchy aspects, but I just had to adjust and I appreciate what they've done. No excuses or bashes about GG's coding prowess - it's just different, and I appreciate that. The graphics, art, etc are all beautiful and flow very nicely. The tone and pacing are very good for me. Honestly, though, I am a bit disappoin...
