@21:10 and 21:48, what's 'grainefawdo'?
I like the K2 online video being presented like you're actually playing, then at 28:20 talking about 'tapping L3 to just move up a little bit', but wait, the guy just keeps running. Which one did you rip and commentate?
'If you don't like the...
Maybe it will be a multiplayer/coop option to play as zombies, just in time to compete with Left 4 Dead.
Oh snap, I hope this gets a shout-out in the next HHG show.
Congratulations! You... are... ghey!
Really though, that was amazing.
Pushing the limits of human engineering happens everywhere - enthusiasts are no different. I hope this new Phenom pushes AMD back into direct competition with Intel. In the end, we all win.
C'mon, where's Clayfighter?
..meh.. oh well. Suppose I'll just fire up a second round of Lost Odyssey while waiting for White Knight and FF13.
Actually, if any of you want to get into a class action lawsuit, I'm gonna sue Sony because black was my favorite color growing up.
I think I understand what you're trying to say there, but I disagree on your last bit. Stepping up the memory a notch will not force the CPU to match - that's called OC headroom, and it's useless if you don't use it. Memory running faster than the bus/memory controller can't use that extra speed for the system unless the bus is brought up to match (which affects the CPU if multiplier isn't changed). That's why it's important to plan your overclock and component specs before building a syst...
I suppose this article got so many hits because it seemed console-related. It's refreshing to hear some PC talk now and again.
I have 4GB DDR2-800 in my Vista64 machine, and I was agonizing at first over getting DDR2-1033 for OCing the FSB, but realizing that many 800 kits can OC around the 1000 mark with relaxed timings. With DDR, timings were everything, but with higher speed/capacity RAM it matters less, as the bandwidth and size make up for any loss (as shown with benchmark...
lol... holographic disc... full deep color... nice.
Man, I can't wait for this one. Lights off and surround on.
...jackass. </Happy Gilmore>
I thought the money put down for a preorder was applied to the purchase price? Could be wrong. Anyway, even though it annoys me it's just smart business - as long as it doesn't give edge over those who buy the same game on release day. Maybe a character skin wearing nothing but Gamestop underwear and lucha libre mask.
Agree with Jacobite.. I wouldn't mind if the installs were more like R2. Ok, games and consoles nowadays are much more complex - got it. But dumping several gigs just to play is ridiculous. I'd almost expect to play the game without the disc. Hell, for everyone that makes PC comparisons, games come on DVD and most always have a patch for playing without the disc.
Um, because PCs aren't game consoles?
*arm over face
Oooooohhh! </snap>
The demo was abysmal for me... the only thing I remember from it was teaching the sheep to tumble in slow-motion with grenades. Oh, and everything looked like it was texture-modeled from lettuce.
CC is not going out of business. More like spring cleaning.
Crap. I just got my copy of Bulletproof signed at the last Fiddy concert, now I'll have to see SB again when this comes out.
