Let's wait to see some media before we judge. Considering surprises by Media Molecule and EA (Dead Space), I have learned not to judge a developer prematurely. Besides, I don't think when they graduate programming school they assign them to a specific genre for their careers.
I agree. I would love to pick this up as a big fan, but $15 or more is too much for me.
From the designer's standpoint, parkour has been on the rise in exposure, so I could see how this could be a great idea to break the mold. It hasn't been done yet - new ground.
Is English your first language?
Damn, lucky bastards. I guess I'll just wait until Friday. Perhaps I should get gas.. *runs to 7-11*
... why? Interesting to say the least, but unnecessary and not as entertaining as the first one. Might as well be a wish list for your favorite supermodel.
I respect your philosophy, but I disagree on the hard drive aspect. First, I don't believe SSD is a factor at this point for the general desktop masses. It has even been proven in other credible articles that RAID is a desktop performance placebo, although I am not hating - 2 systems ago I had a RAID 0 array that seemed pretty snappy, but it was only a minor system performance boost. I myself would love to get into a roomy SSD, but I think at this point it's fiscally irresponsible.
...
I just upgraded to an E8400 Wolfdale pushing 3.6 easy, and I'm already salivating at stepping to 4 cores with this. It'll be next year sometime easy, though, playing the price-point waiting game.
Um, there is a little pop-up, though not nearly as bad as I had feared. Doesn't much matter, though, as the game is surprisingly gorgeous.
Damn did your stock go down or something?
Hah! You had me laugh out loud on that one.
I don't see a price cut anytime this holiday. If they're cutting manufacturing costs, then they're adding more 'value' in games and hard drive space to maintain the price point. Good business for them I suppose, but at least we're getting some good games in the meantime.
Good call. RTFM.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Sure, it had it's dull moments (repetitive and drawn out battles), but there wasn't too much grind required IMHO, and the story was intriguing enough for me. Finishing this one wasn't nearly the chore that Infinite Undiscovery was, as I forced myself to slog through many parts of that one, not to mention Cappell's irritating demeanor.
Those are just forum bots masquerading as bugs trying to ruin your experience.
Wow, two 360s!? What else do you have in your house?
Must've been one of the port teams or QA groups.
I like that monster bite move at the end... will definitely be watching this.
This was a surprise hit for me. Turn off the lights and crank the surround. One of the best experiences as of late. Has some replay value.
The coin flags were a nice touch.
