Good read if you're into this sort of thing.
Otherwise, it will just make your eyes cross and head spin.
I enjoyed it...
Let's just hope it doesn't suffer from the same bugs, and pathing issues like the first one.
Internal testing ftw.
Better a company gets it right the first time, and doesn't load you up with patches on launch day. Nothing worse than a company half-assing a product, knowing it's problems come launch day and thinks "it's okay, our customers can just patch it later".
From the Blues:
"Hello everyone,
I'd like to take some time to speak with all of you regarding our desire to make the Blizzard forums a better place for players to discuss our games. We've been constantly monitoring the feedback you've given us, as well as internally discussing your concerns about the use of real names on our forums. As a result of those discussions, we've decided at this time that real names will not be required for posting on of...
Definitely looking forward to Civ.V
Didn't play IV, and probably couldn't now. Visuals are too dated for my tastes. But I remember playing Civ. I, II and III in their prime and they were pretty cool.
Well said. Gone are the days where Special/Collectors Edition meant something.
Scrap them all, and go back to true limited editions. So limited it's like 100 per state or something.
The way people cry about what is, and what isn't fair.. this will never happen. QQ
That's one of the reasons I don't like the social networking website. That whole people from your past trying to be cool with you and all. Yeah, we were friends, but if your friendship mattered to me at all I'd have kept in touch.
Take my brother for example, his wife hates it when anyone(especially females) from his past end up on his MySpace or w/e. So, to remedy this, she deleted his account and made one for the "family". Which she controls every aspe...
Both men and women get harassed, but women tend to take the bulk of the crap.
One problem I see are the names of parents with strong ethnic background. If a parent lets their son/daughter play a game of Blizzards', then the account(especially WoW) should be in the parents name. So if your a teen or child with a basic name.. but your parent has a name pertaining to the mother-land or w/e. You could end up getting harassed because mom and dad are proud enough to not change their name.
Hell, perfect example. My little brother, if he were to play WoW o...
Rage is looking good. Tthe article didn't say what platform this was on. Probably the 360, which leaves me hoping the PC looks a bit better =). Even still, if this is the 360 version it sill looks pretty good. This could be a pc version, we can use the 360 controller too if we wish. Most games are coming pre-setup for it now a days anyhow.
But I'll be sticking to my G13/MX-Revo combo.
Squall all the way...
A: his limit break hits more(not capped at a crappy 14).And does the same amount of damage each hit.
B: what does cloud have? Knights of the Round... Wow 13 hits for 9999. Squall has Eden... What, roughly 250k damage?
C: Cloud has to wait to get his ass kicked to use his limit. Squall, can just use Aura. /win
BUT WAIT
Terra jumps in casting Vanish and X-zone.
Game over. FF6 wins!
True..
But I prefer to just reinstall the os. Doesn't take long, and is much less of a headache than "hoping" you got all the crap out of the way. Only to find 6 months later, you missed some trial or something.
Then again, I'm also the kind of guy who will reinstall my os every 6 months just for grins.
meh
The same should be done with new desktops too... all that shovel ware. >.<
The difficulty changes in skirmish vs comp are pretty nice. Even on "medium" the computer is far more difficult than what we had back in Brood War. Insane should be fun.. Having 6 choices to choose from should keep just about everyone entertained when and if they want some peaceful solo action. Very Easy > Easy > Medium > Hard > Very Hard > Insane.
There's nothing wrong with what BioWare is doing. If they can do it correctly, the transition won't even be noticed. But, for me to enjoy the change they need to continue having choices in game. Choices that reflect they way people react to you and those that can potentially change the way the rest of the game pan out.
Watching the pros competitively play an RTS like WC3 and SC:BW/2 just prove that console "pros" aren't shit(in comparison). True, they're good at what they do and I guess that's all that matters. But when you look at RTS pros, their APM, or better yet just watch them play... it's almost sickening. Most people(console pros too) would be nauseous after watching them play in person for more than 20 or 30 minutes. The constant screen movement, jumping around or just watc...
Naw.
Just in MGS6, make some uber-ultimatewtfpwnd edition with remakes of all mgs versions from the PSX and up with updated visuals. I'd pay a few hundred for that.
Hell, remake all of them NES version too. Do it!
And just for giggles, go go PC exclusive! I kid, I kid...
Looking forward to hearing more of what DA:2 has in store. But I haven't played Awakening yet. So this sequel can take it's time =)(start disagreeing with me, it's okay)
Bioware has some work to do though, DA:O is plagued with bugs and glitches. I wouldn't mind a little more action in the combat. The whole run to your opponent, stop and then swing thing is aggravating. Combat on the run, ftw.
Another nub throwing numbers around w/o any proof. You say there are mmos with 50-200 million players... get to proving it, or don't make such accusations.
Regardless of the numbers Blizzard is getting with WoW, it's proven it's place time after time, year after year. And not one mmo has come close to it. Face it, in their "play regions" WoW is the king. As much as I like Blizzard(until recently) and WoW, it's time for a few mmos to knock the giant off it...
Camera angles in boss fights has got to be fixed though. Definitely was not a fan of the fixed camera location during boss fights on the first Force Unleashed.
