I think that sums it up, I'd change it to PVP is a lot of fun but not fantastic, and add somewhere that despite the lack of content the game manages to keep you coming back again and again. If you like the game at all, you'll likely put more time into it than most other games this year and have some real laughs with friends while you're at it.
Don't forget Titanfall got 8s and 9s with zero story, only 3 Titans, and not that many maps for a full priced MP only game. Also some people couldn't even do the campaign because the community wasn't large enough...Destiny got improperly shafted by many major review sites because they decided to adopt new review standards the day it released (or they suck at their job of reviewing). I definitely lost respect for Sony, still waiting for the PSN Plus edition but something tells me it won't be released until after the holiday season.
Still extremely happy I bought a PS4, but I'm not toting its praises to people on the fence about upgrading anymore.
If Sony learned anything from MS it should know that goodwill among gamers is a very fickle thing.
A bit, I was deciding between Unity and Dragon Age and am going with Dragon age - more so for the story and longevity than resolution though. I like AC games but the side mission tend to be very repetitive, DA side quests were mostly very interesting.
Also, I heard that Unity's framerate is unstable in the 30 range which is a major turn off. I have a hard time playing some last gen games now because of it, the games just look so terrible to me now, which is weird becaus...
How do they know the increase in image quality is more a result of the bump in resolution and not other higher quality effects. I've seen 900p games with good AA and 50-60FPS look clearer and crisper than 1080p30FPS games with more jaggies.
The game looks cool, nothing innovative about the gameplay but interesting nonetheless.

Great game but the story is lacking.
If it was released as powerful as PS4 for $400 it would have been a much closer race. If it was more powerful and $500 I would have an xone right now.
I think on both sides of the debate, bad apples have spoiled the bunch...or at least distracted everyone from what the real issues are, sexism in gaming and major game site/staff credibility. Which, by the way, should be completely separate issues!
Not hating on Titanfall but it got a pass with the critics with no SP and not that much content. People saying that it's so much better than Destiny because it reviewed better should note that their are millions of gamers that absolutely love Destiny.
In fact, there are more people greatly enjoying Destiny and playing more hours of it than many other higher rated games.
Ideally it would have been a full planet worth of story content.
I love how commited Bungie is to the Destiny community. I can't think of one company that is that involved with it's userbase.

I think xbox hate stemmed more from the millions of early adopters with with faulty consoles, equally faulty 'repaired' consoles, and years of nickle and dimming and paywals....and then the focus on Kinect's to acquire casuals at the cost of the existing users.
People wanted to hate on xbox because they had so much pent up anger but couldn't because in many way 360 was a better console (especially multiplats), xo...
I'm happy to install to the harddrive, it prolongs the life of the bluray drive and if the harddrive breaks at least I can replace it easily. Can't say that about the bluray drive.
