Playstation's marketing seems as much dependent on exclusive games as it does on advertising. All the exclusives get it coverage in the media and tonnes of word of mouth and is probably cheaper than spending 100 million on commercials. Sony seems more intent on actually trying to sell you games than simply trying to sell you.
It may decrease lifespan but as long as voltage and heat are in saferanges the lifespan will still far outlast the card/cpu's usefulness. Maybe instead of 10 years you get 8. In any event, by the time an normal OC breaks something the price to replace will be negligible.

There's no public chat so in a game designed around making friends, you have little opportunity to do so. You can't just ask someone if they want to team up to do some challenges, etc. like in WoW and other community based games. Well, Wolfenstein TNO is one of my favourite games this gen and gets my number one pick for most satisfying gunplay in a FPS game.
We should also remember that a number of MP only games are failing too (Law Breakers, Battleborne). I will definitely buy Wolfenstein 2, I've played the previous one at least 3 times.

Microsoft? Really. Any particular person or people that would feel offended and rejected? I would expect Microsoft and its employees wouldn't be childish enough to care and would only be concerned about whether they can make money off having the game on their platform.
I'm sure MS would allow the game on their console but I doubt MS would spend a penny on its development or promotion.

I own and passed Undertale, it's not a 90 percent game. It was a pretty good indie game but just serves as another example of how indie games can often get a free pass from reviewers. It's by no means an amazing game at any price. And if price has such an impact on a game's review, maybe reviewers should incorporate price metrics into their reviews, like 8/10 at $60 9.5/10 at $30.
