Their engine was excellent in Batman The Enemy Within, I was actually impressed by the graphics at times. Ran smooth as well.
Does this mean even more button presses to get to Netflix now? We should just be able to pin apps.
Wonder what the specs are, if they're going with AMD again they don't really have anything that would be a huge jump in power. They'd essentially have to fit a Vega 56 and Ryzen into an APU but Vega is so power hungry.
Gaming has a lot of weirdos, racists, sexists, and homophobic people.
I found it incredibly boring. The characters are just too bland and incidentally, weirdly unattractive.
@abstractel
There was plenty of ethnicity/religious based hate and racism in all allied countries before the war. WW2 era Germany just showed the world how horrendous it could get if proactive action wasn't taken to foster equality and fair treatment for all and woke people up to the realization that racism/religious hatred wasn't normal and should no longer be accepted as a natural bi-product of intra-national population diversity, which is why leaders had to write...
Yeah the game is pretty rough around the edges at times. Skyrim on PS3 was bad but not many games are this bug ridden these days particularly considering the price.
Funny that so many people defend this game but the same people would be up in arms if Ubisoft or EA released a game with this many bugs. And it's not mildly annoying graphical bugs, it's actual gameplay and quest bugs which make it worse along with terrible performance at times.
It...
You can when they charge the same price.
Yeah the game is a complete mess. If any other company released a game with this many bugs at the same price it would be decimated online. I see now there is definitely a double standard in this industry.
The freezes randomly, button prompts to clime ladders sometimes doesn't work, and it doesn't even have a turn off Vsync function. There's a good game in there somewhere, but I can't find it as the performance is horrendous.
Some some great creative advertising.
I have mixed feelings seeing Half Life on these lists. Incredible game for its time, but when a company leaves a story arch completely unfinished with a cliff hanger ending, is it still worthy of so much praise. Personally, my feeling towards the series now is just frustration and disappointment.
If Halo ended after Halo 2 would it be regarded highly or just a series with a lot of potential that failed its fans for ending too soon. Or if Star Wars ended after Empire Strikes...
Game looks fun and it looks good. People on Twitch seemed to enjoy it, didn't know it had performance issues but it's pre-EA
MS pretty much beat themself more than Sony outsmarting them. If anything Sony took a few of the best pages out of MSs playbook in the early 360 days and ran with it, which still works today (have the best exclusive games, new IPs, and focus on power and price)
At one point MS had Sony on the ropes largely because of their deep pockets. 360 at first had the best exclusives and new IPs (Mass Effect, Gears, Arcade games, Halo, Forza, Fable,) and all mutliplatforms looked and...
I was really excited about it but my friends abandoned Destiny due to design decisions with the first one and socializing in Destiny 2 is unduly difficult making for a very lonely game. No interest in playing Destiny 2 alone or jumping through hoops just to ask a random to team up.
Those are actually good ideas
It was a great game for it's time but I think it's time to let go.
At this point Bungie's apologies are hollow.
This is what, the third time they've been busted for these types of greedy practices. Every time they act like it was a mistake and apologize. Nope, they're that guy that mistreats everyone and never feels "sorry" until he's caught.
I must agree, the constant content updates, seasonal events, seasons, and easy to gain cosmetic only loot boxes are great. The fact that it requires teamwork is my favourite thing about it. So many MP games have tried to encourage team play but they just end up being individuals ignoring objectives and working on their k/d. In Overwatch, as the author says "If your team is strong, you are strong". Sometimes it sucks when your team isn't but most of the matches are fun.
I didn't think Prey was an outstanding game, it started off as an outstanding game then became tedious and the story moved a little to slowly to counteract the tedium.
Witcher 3 was an outstanding game.
Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Wolfenstein are outstanding SP story based games. Prey to me was like an 7.5/10, maybe 8/10 for me. It did start off amazing though.
Bungie should just abandon Destiny and make an all new game. The game is so boring.
