I'm pretty much in the exact same boat. Except I only played the first one twice. ME2 and 3 I played over three times. ME:A, I waited about 20hrs for the game to get interesting and finally quit once I realized the characters, side quests and main story never would. Also, couldn't deal with anymore of that horrible dialogue and voice acting. Funny thing, the facial animations never bothered me, I felt the whole issue just distracted from how bland the story and characters were.
I uninstalled it when I heard they made previously available content unavailable (including achievements) unless you pay more for DLC. Before that, they intentionally limited your XP to push you torwards buying engrams.
I don't really respect Bungie enough anymore to reinstall. The Halo love is long gone.
The article states, "Some began questioning why Bluehole had not added a "bulge" to the male characters".
The male characters do have a "bulge", what they don't have is a large bulge but there is no question, judging from the picture of the male character in the same underwear, that something is there. The gamers complaining that there is "no" bulge are really criticizing the male characters of not having a LARGE ENOUGH bulge with...
Xbox lost this generation last gen when all the disgruntled 360 users switched over to PS3, then didn't even consider another xbox console.
I loved my 360, such a shame it was ruined by 3 RRODS, one dead DVD drive, and one DOA (plus two had obvious cosmetic issues), among many other things. I keep my electronics pristine so paying full price for someone's piece of shit bothered me a lot. May as well have bought it used. Immediately traded in the final refurb and jus...
Yeah, me too, just going to play Fifa and NBA2k18.
oh wait.
The name is not meant to be offensive, it derives from Casinos and is used to identify a person who is known to be very rich and spend a lot of money. If Marc Cuban was known to love videogames and when to Gamestop he's be considered a whale. Same probably goes for Drake going to a club. They coined the terms to let customer service know they were very important (big) customers and should received very special treatment throughout their stay in the Casino with the best rooms, service, f...
I blame mobile games. They're completely marketed towards children and often, the first videogame experience children have as every parent has a phone that they give to their kids to play with from time to time.
All "F2P". Like a drug dealer giving the first hit for free to get you hooked.
While I feel bad for the person, we can't outlaw things because a small minority of the population have problems with it. Otherwise, we'd need to ...
"Ubisoft are good at many things but creating open worlds is almost certainly not one of them"
What!?
Watch Dogs 2 has one of the most believable open worlds.
Otherwise the list is solid.
Especially MEA at number 1. I didn't even care about the whole facial animation. Loved Mass Effect was just looking for the same old solid story and interesting characters, and gameplay in space, but this game had a bor...
They deserve 1 million sales just for the use of binaural audio alone. Every developer should implement it, makes the game so much more immersive.
I really wish AMD would release better GPUs just because it's so hard to find new GSYNC monitors. Every new monitor is freesync. The last GSYNC high refresh rate monitors release around 2 years ago.
Even better, Nvidia would support Freesync but they're way to greedy for that.
Have a steam sale and probably get another 50,000.
The less money Blizzard gets from the whales spending on loot boxes just means less free content for the people that were not spending anything on loot boxes and riding on the backs of whales who funded the devs to support the game long term.
Your're more likely to get more sequels requiring that you spend another $60 instead of more support and content for the original game.
Cosmetic loot boxes only are good thing if you want your original purchase ...
Well there goes all the long term free Overwatch content. Get ready for annual sequels in everything and more paid DLC.
whole controversy probably cost them a couple million sales.
Cosmetic item only loot boxes are a win-win for gamers and publishers and much preferable to annual installments. A small percentage of uses essentially fund long term support and free content for everyone. Overwatch is a perfect example.
Sad thing is MS could have released a more powerful console but chose to spend hardware costs on Kinect.
unless they're purely cosmetic

I'd watch an Overwatch movie if the shorts are anything to go by.
Didn't know this game supported cross-play.
My appreciation for this game just went through the roof. I hope other devs follow suit.
