I much prefer PUBG gunplay, sound, and graphics. Also like that I only have to worry about survival, not building.
Everyone is making a Battle Royal game, there's no guarantee that PUBG will remain as popular when it get some real competition by games that have realistic gunplay and graphics too.
I'm sure Phillippe knows infinitely more than me on the subject and MS's is a huge corp yes, but they're not putting it all behind their game division. Xbox is probably has the smallest budget out of all 3, it's like MS's red headed step child now with all of the financial fiascoes. Sony however, does put a lot of investment into Playstation.
Because there's no way to a make a superman game that doesn't make it feel like his powers are crippled. Maybe Rockstar could do it properly.
I'd prefer if Bungie just made a different game at this point. Destiny has just been a major, even frustrating, disappointment and killed all the love I had for them from the Halo days.
I'm not even going to bother clicking this one, at least try and hide being click-bate.
The saddest thing is that Kinect probably cost MS any chance at winning this generation, or even coming close in sales.
List forgot the new Spiderman game coming out.
It's a video game.
Prices went up for AAA games by $20 in Canada in 2015 (from $60 to $80). I'm curious how the affected game sales.
I think cosmetic only loot boxes in games like Overwatch are implemented fairly. Allows me to just ride the whales.
CSGO has the worst cosmetic loot box system. Takes forever to unlock a box and then you have to buy a key to open it.
Hellblade has nice graphics but it's a very basic game in terms of gameplay/level design.
CDPR shames most companies business practices. Now that I think about it, CDPR games put most developers to shame too.
I didn't have any problem with the facial animations and the graphics were very good.
However, the game was extremely boring. So boring that I could bring myself to play it anymore after about 12 hours. Started off ok, but the characters and dialogue were horrendous. The missions were terrible and the main story didn't move along enough for me to care what was going on.
This article is so bad it doesn't even know the basic tech specs of the monitors. PG279Q is rated at 4ms G2G, not 1ms. And it absolutely does not have a scaler.
Resolutions under it's native resolution will look much blurrier so 1080p on this monitor will look MUCH worse than 1080p on a 1080p monitor. But 1440p will look beautiful.
People get the console their friends have so they can play online together. There's not much MS can do at this point.
This gen, more than any other, required a very strong launch. Unlike the 360/PS3 gen, online gaming had taken over by the time PS4/X1 released. The friends of the early adopters later bought the same console to play online together, then each of their friends, and so on the social cluster sales expanded until it snowballed into the unrecoverable situatio...
Grotesque, is a strong word. I see nothing grotesque about it.
Shame that it has become taboo to have anything but extremely average and plain looking women in games these days. Seeing super hot women was part of the enjoyment. We have all this graphical power now but any dev that includes a woman with even just a pretty face risks getting protested.
Also, unlike real life, there are almost no curvy women in video games anymore.
Battle Royal.
And knowing Blizzard, it will run pretty well.
We only have ourselves to blame. All people did was complain about Deus Ex MD for allegedly ended too quickly. I passed it and got 40 hrs in my first play through with all of the side missions. The ending clearly set up a sequel but wasn't truncated at all. The complaints, in my opinion, were unfounded. Gamers ignored (and worse, pilloried) a great game over one issue that arguably didn't exist and in doing so, convinced others not to buy a great game.
Truth is, if ...
We're to blame for the death of another great SP focused game developer.
Just passed Deus Ex MD last night. The game was amazing but no one bought it because all people did was complain that it ended too quickly and ran poorly. It took me over 40 hrs doing all of the side missions and not running everywhere. Obviously the ending set up a sequel but it wasn't truncated in any way. The complaints were completely exaggerated or unfounded and now sadly, a needed sequel ...
Lol, if it hasn't been working on them since at least 2016, they won't be coming.
