One of the reasons I moved to PC last November. Sure my upfront costs were more but I know each year I save $50. Over the long term that adds up.
However, if Sony had a PSN service on PC that allowed you to have a Playstation on PC and buy all of it's exclusives (which PC graphics of course), I'd probably pay $50 a year for that instead of buying the console. Not even sure if I'll buy another console after my PS4. I never play it.
MS could pr...
While I have full faith that the 480 will beat the 970, the 970 used in that test is actually a pretty low OC for a 970. They overclock like beasts very easily - just using Afterburner which is an idiot proof way to OC.
So Orion copied the look of Activision's guns which Activision obviously copied from some other source.
And copying a T-Rex which was already copied from the T-Rex from the original Jurrassic Park which is copied from the look of an actual T-Rex.
If a single GTX 1080p could easily do 4k/60 at high/ultra then you wouldn't need two. In any event, the GPU in the Scorpio is likely some variant of RX480 so there's no way.
if a GTX1080 can't do modern games at 4k/60FPS then there's no way Scorpio or Neo could. Best thing to do is ultra the pants off 1080p or depending on the game go for 1440p.
At this point, the only slim xb1/ps4 worth buying would have to be in the form of a tablet or smartphone.
Spiderman and GOW are the most exciting games from E3 for me.
PC certainly killed my love for consoles.
Haven't gamed on PC since Doom 2 but made a build in Nov. 2015 and I'm never going back to maining consoles. In fact, after my PS4, I'm not sure I'd want to buy a console again. I haven't played a game on my PS4 since I built my gaming PC.
Yeah, but Wii was an anomaly. Those casuals have gone back to their phones and tablets.
Now how will Europe ever compete against China and India.
It's so much just a number game.
360 and PS4 drove me to PC gaming. The drought with a new console gen was too long and 360 dragged on forever. The games started running terribly. The only exciting thing for me was PC and now I'm hooked.
I thought it looked pretty cool. No more stupid than any other game and probably less stupid than many.
But not 3rd party content apparently..because that's been Nintendo's strategy since N64 and it hasn't worked out that well for them.
I doubt he doesn't care about xbox sales but I definitely do 99% of my gaming on a MS platform via Windows.
My PS4 gets about 1% of my game time.
I'd happily buy xbox games on Windows Store if they actually worked properly. KI works perfectly but QB was probably the worst running PC game I've seen in a long while and Forza stuttered so much. However, Forza is a beta so it's forgiven somewhat.
Egyptian gods are cool but I like the new setting.
Although new PS4 exclusives run the risk of all games having that same 'woods' look.
Spencer says, "The reason somebody wants to go buy an Xbox—or I’ll just say a game console, yes I’d love if they bought an Xbox—is they want to sit 10 feet from their television screen with a controller in their lap looking at a television playing a videogame," said Spencer. "It’s a different experience from playing on PC. I’m not saying it’s better or worse, it’s just different..."
I game mainly on PC, on my comfy couch, 8 feet away from my TV, using an...
If that's the case, the GPU isn't 6TF's, the entire system is including CPU.
GPU is likely some variant of the RX480.
RX480 = 5.5 FLOPS (or thereabout)
CPU = .6 (or thereabout)
Given that a consumer version of the RX480 is only $200 a launch, Sony would be foolish not to have something similar in the Neo. In 2017 a consumer RX480 would be even cheaper.
Agreed, likely could do a good number of games at 1440p/60 FPS as well.
Whatever the case, at least it won't be 720/900p games at 25-30 FPS anymore.
I'm very hyped and I'm a PC gamer. No plans on getting an xbox because I already have a PS4 that I never use but Halo is one of my favourite series. Had them all on xbox 1 and 360. Not worth getting a console for one series though. Generally don't even want to console game anymore.
He was a bit crazy to hire a grizzly alcoholic to play snake in MGS 5 and do away with the story component. Story has been a major element of MGS games since Shadow Moses.
He was also a bit crazy to listen to the vocal minority of people that didn't like MGS 4s story and cut scenes and allow that minority to so heavily influence the story design in MGS 5, which was almost no story.
Still love Kojima but MGS 5 still hurts. My favourite series of all t...
