I remember when I used to care about trophies.
What about the competition with their own game, Battlefield?
Titanfall 2 may become the Battleborn of the Fall season.
EA games like Battlefront and Battlefield tend to run extremely well on a wide range of GPUs and have among the best graphics. I'd agree with EA on that front. Frostbite is awesome.
W10 games could learn from EA in the performance department.
You don't have to make your game like that. I think VR should focus on the couch experience and limit the movement to head movement and leaning. Let the controllers do the walking.
It's not just about the hours of enjoyment, it's about the amount of enjoyment in those hours.
Personally, I can gain a lot more enjoyment from a great 10 hr SP game, than 50hrs of MP.
No it launched 2-3 years too late. PS3/360 were way over extended, I almost lost my interest in console gaming because of how much the games showed their age. Performance and image quality were getting pretty bad. A lot of games were regularly hitting below 20FPS with shimmering aliasing everywhere. It was like playing every game with every setting on low or off at 720p and sub-30FPS, sometimes with tearing.
It's probably the reason why I'm far more into PC gaming n...
It's frequently $299.99 with at least one AAA game.
My question is why reveal a card and only show what it can do at 51%. Why not show that a $200 can compete at a high level.
It's like revealing a sports cars claiming it can do 0-60mph in 4 seconds and only showing it go from 0-20mph
This is amazing news! I'd love for every xbox game to be available on my PC. Not only can you regularly replay the games with better graphics and performance but online (as of now) is free.
I have both the DS4 and Xb1 controller and agree the DS4 is the most comfortable controller I've ever held. However, the Xb1 controller has way better build quality. I wish DS4 worked natively on more games on PC, I typically just use the xb1 for convenience and proper button icons.
I hope so.
Piracy is part of the reason why there're are so few SP PC exclusives now.
Nintendo has been missing something since N64.
They got lucky with Wii.
But people will still buy consoles.
The author must really like Halo to spend $400 on it.
Poor poor Battleborn.
I thought xb1 was 1.31 Teraflops
1.31 x 4 = 5.24
In any event, things look to be getting interesting again.
@ Never4get
The people looking for an xb1 aren't necessarily in the market for a gaming PC. There's a huuuuuge cost difference, convenience difference, friends group difference, etc. Unlike PS4 and xb1, consoles and PC aren't interchangeable products. A lot of people don't want to build a PC, spend money buying a PC, mess around with dozens of graphical setting prior to actually sitting down to enjoy the game, or doing things like changing ini files to try fix some i...
Yes, more W10. I'd love for every xb1 game to release on W10. They're all MS platforms anyways.
cheaper to get the new AMD chips than the old ones.
Wait until Fall 2017?
And still pay more. If people are still playing on 360/PS3, that's a long wait.
Best thing to do is wait until the holiday season where you'll get it for $250 with a game or two.
Or just build a gaming PC and escape upgrade whenever you want.
