Let this be a valuable lesson in testing for bugs prior to launch.
That's a lot skill there. Wow.
@ naruga
A lot of blacks and other races participated and died in both WWI and WWII, history just completely discounted any of their contributions for "whatever reason". They were given more supply roles in WWI because of the racism at the time, still fraught with danger however. Had a greater part in WWII but more so in Africa. Most of the popular media depicting the World Wars just completely ignores all other races unfortunately.
Cool, PC/PS4 so I'm not missing out.
MS better make it more powerful than PS4K, or xbox has no chance.
It would be real easy to destroy the CPU but that could just be another Sony gambit.
So apparently gamers who have no idea what it takes to make a game, and reviewers can criticize COD but professional AAA developers and people whose job it is to make compelling promo vids can't. I get it, leave the analysis to us amateurs and put a gag order on the pros.
The more they spent on the Gears games, the worse they got.
Really enjoyed that Paragon free weekend last week however so I still have faith in Epic. Can't wait for launch. Maybe I'm old or maybe I've played too many, but I'm tired of twitch MP competitive shooters. Paragon actually got me to try HoS but that game felt pretty boring in comparison. I think it was the iso graphics.
If Cliffy thinks cross-play is a mistake, he better hope the fanbase has long legs. Especially when so many PC MP shooters die on PC in a matter of months.
After what happened with Battlefront and Titanfall, I'm not a buying a mp-only competitive shooter on PC unless it has cross-play.
Implement a controller only lobber to allow people to play with consoles. Problem solved. I'd actually prefer to sit back on the couch and play with console game...
the Naughty Gods bestow yet another blessed miracle upon gamekind.
So armchair professional gamers and reviewers are allowed to criticize any and everything about a game from gameplay to graphics but the second a professional chimes in, he or she's an asshole? I think people in the industry are the most qualified to criticize another's work. They are the only professionals here. They know what it takes to make something, the programming difficulty involved, and the resources and politics at play. I'd say that other devs are uniquely qualified to...
Console hardware was crap but it did a lot of things right as well. Overall I preferred my PS3 in the end but only because all of the issues with MS being excessively exploitative even for a corporation and the all the stress and frustration I had to go through with hardware issues. If MS simply implemented a no lemon policy and didn't go overboard with paywalls, I (and my friends) may have had an xb1 this gen instead of a PS4. Requiring a $60 a year Gold subscription to access internet e...
Looked pretty cool but at this point, I already know COD's story is probably no better than a 5/10. They don't even try and make it cohesive and coherent any more.
I thoroughly enjoyed Alien Isolation.
They should have spent more and implemented a no lemon policy. After so many bad refurbs millions probably lost interest in the xbox brand which will cost them more than a billion in the long run and had a major impact on what people bought this gen. Five of six of my friends had to exchange their 360 at least once and had at least 2 broken consoles, they all switched over to PS3 towards the end of last gen and now all bought PS4s this gen without even considering xb1.
The model is what needs to happen. Distinct console gens needed to die. No one wants to roll the dice each gen hoping to rebuild a consumer base, no one wants to make game for the last and first years of a consoles lifespan because dying console owners aren't that excited about most new games and the install base in new console isn't big enough.
Get used to it like you got used to iphone 6 then iphone 6s the and Samsung G5,G6, G7, etc. A new forward and backwards...
It's moronic and shows that Nintendo has nothing to show for Wii U and how dead the console is. For a company whose biggest complaint against it is lack of games, going to E3 with one game that has been in development for already a very long time and that still isn't coming out this year is brutal for Wii U owners and frankly ridiculous.
I know people love Nintendo, I grew up with it too, but it's getting hard to respect them at this point.
I almost bought one, glad I didn't. I'd feel sad having one and knowing it was failure.
Maybe early years 360 was great. But after you've exchanged your 5th refurb and can't use Netflix because it's behind a BS pay wall, it hard to sing any praises for 360.
My friends and I all started off with 360 back in the ME, Gears, Halo, LO, etc days (when 360 was truly a great console) then switched to PS3 because MS and Greenberg thought customers could be exploited like no other customer in history and treated us like complete morons. Shouldn't have...
I love these stories, I'll be sure to leave porn on every device that I decide to trade-in.
No, it doesn't.
It ensures Playstation's existing userbase stays on Playstation. Every new console gen means a new roll of the dice (look at xb1) for manufactuers where they could lose all the ground they've gained. Sony doesn't want to risk the people it gathered this gen going to another company in 4 years.
