I bought PS4 on launch day (even waited in line at Target) and have been a console gamer since NES but switched to primarily game on PC in November 2015. Only touched my PS4 for the first time in months to play Uncharted 4.
Main reason for the switch was annual P2P online and $95 game prices in Canada. I play online enough that I needed PSN Plus but not enough for it to be worth it year after year. I thought the $300 in savings on PSN Plus alone made building a decent gamin...

Nintendo doesn't have the best games, not by a long shot.
Nintendo has some good games, but Sony 1st party combined with 3rd party has many more and better games than Wii U or 3DS.
Of course, these are all personal opinions just like yours.

The man that revolutionized 3d games would be blessing to VR. VR needs its Super Mario 64 moment. The games out now aren't even Jumping Flash.

I agree. In Canada new releases are $80 plus 13% tax. This increased occured early 2014. Since then, I not only switched to primarily game on PC but have decreased my purchase of 6-8 new releases a year to 2-3. I know the increase isn't massive, but it's very hard to justify spending just under $100 on a video game. Now, I just wait months until they drop to about $40 which makes my purchase of MP focused games almost non-existent now.
Both seem like good consoles, I only have a PS4 and gaming PC but good job MS.
I like healthy competition. It pushes each company to do more to win consumers.
That was stupid, not that many people are buying 4K Blu-rays, but still. It's a major bullet point for a 4k console.
If Sony announced a FreeSync enabled 4k HDR Playstation TV with low input lag that would have been perfect.
Are there any games for them? Not just tech demo, I mean quality AAA games.

Game's generally hard to run at any resolution above 1080p on high settings and framerate on every GPU.
Free DLC and Paid DLC that's as good and fresh as a full priced game.
Take note Activision, EA, and Ubisfot.
For the price it actually a pretty good headset and a very good bluetooth headset. The sound quality is good, build quality is passable but nothing like a $200 or more headset.
I have one and don't regret it.
$95.00 games prices and paid to play online is the reason I switched to PC gaming this gen.
I'm just happy for a campaign.
While we're wining about wished for features, why not cross-platform cross-PC co-op and MP.
In fact, we should all be wining about that. Keeps MP alive much longer.

I'm more excited about the option to turn off the light bar.
SP certainly convinces me to buy games that I wasn't super excited for even if only after months following release. For FPS games of middling popularity, if I don't buy them withing 6 months, there's little incentive for me to gamble on them being a sufficient player base to buy them when they're "old". SP assures I'll probably get my money's worth. If the MP is good and still active, I may buy the next iteration at or closer to launch.
