Very nice gun ballet.
And I like the American Independence theme.
I was a console gamer since NES and switched entirely to PC gaming this gen in December 2015. More than anything, however, it was just to save the $300-$400 over five years I'd spend Gold/Plus. I live in Canada so prices are ridiculous for games, online services, and consoles. Assuming a new console launched every 5 years, the cost would be $900 on hardware and online every 5 years to play on console. I can upgrade my PC to have far superior graphics and performance for that price, and pr...
I hope the utter lack of quality games is only temporary but what games are in the pipeline for the next year or so to indicate some AAA blockbusters are releasing?
VR has the potential to revolutionize gaming but it's difficult when most things are tech demos or lower budget experiences.
Valve could make VR a must have item if they released Half Life 3 on it.
Yeah, I DX12 was touted as having far more efficient CPU usage requiring less powerful CPUs and a host of GPU improvements. But CPU minimum specs have only jumped rapidly this year. In the least, you would have expected them to stay the same.
The only real significant improvement in performance I've seen is switching to Vulkan in Doom. Every other game I've tried using DX12 has performed relatively the same or worse and at times introduced crashing.
I don't think you're a MS fanboy at all. Just sounded like a PR response.
So what's it like working for Microsoft?
If it cost devs money to upgrade then gamers should expect to pay for it.
It's not like PC wher every resolution is built in andnonly limited by your GPU.
That PC won't work without an OS.
And try installing the OS without a mouse and keyboard.
Blew a major opportunity at a key point in the generation when people were starving for games. Especially ones that were so hyped. Right or wrong all Titanfall got was the ire of the dominant consumer base (probably deserved it with all that could only be done on xbox BS).
Titanfall could have already been a major franchise not one trying to establish itself.
I thought Fallout 4 graphics were fine, it was the actual game that I had an issue with.
I regret buying Fallout 4 and it's one of the main reasons I stopped by full price games. I'm very content just waiting until price drops and purchasing older games now.
Speaking of which, I bought the PC version of Dishonored 1 about a month after I got Fallout 4 and had a lot more fun with Dishonored 1 than Fallout 4. More than anything, settlement building and the focus on it ruined the game, along with the horrible dialogue and character development.
Well, they don't release that many games. I can't think of any new IP from Capcom that actually released.
Main reason I didn't get it is that I hate the DS4 for SF. I alwasy hit the track pad. Wish could use my DS3 on my PS4 for SF.
It actually has good gameplay in SP unlike games like COD.
Hilary has been involved in a number of atrocities but Trump is on another level. I don't like either one really, but I commend these devs for fighting the madman.
Yeah, but what games would I play.
I know whose opinion definitely doesn't matter...
I played on console since NES and bought a PS4 on launch day. I started PC gaming in November 2015 so I've definitely been more of a console gamer than a PC one. The main reason I like PC better is because I don't support P2P online and I know a game I buy today will work two generations from now and automatically be remastered simply by better hardware.
Also, kb/m is king. I hated it at first but it makes FPS games soooooo much better. You can look wherever you wa...
WTF are you talking about Ashlen? Frostbite is one of the best engines out there. The games look and run amazing on everything.
I get 70-100 fps on high/ultra settings on a 970 at 1440p. Battlefront while boring, was one of the best looking games last year. BF4 graphics still hold up.
What engine do you think delivers better graphics and performance cause I'm dying to know you justification for saying "frostbite just sucks"
Hitman should have usermade assassination levels with level design like forge and character creation for the targets that allow you to upload facial images and audio to them.
It would be a fun. Although I imagine it would quickly become populated with recreations of the most popular presidential assassinations and killing other famous people.
It would be cool to play the Putin assassination, or Trump, or Justin Beiber :)
