It was aimed at the "casual" audience.
The big problem is that, as usual, Microsoft over promised and under-delivered.
They promised Milo but delivered Wii + PS2 EyeToy at a higher cost than those combined.
Disappointing.
As I've always said, the 360's success is restricted to the "very narrow category of violence-driven male-targeted enthusiast action titles."
is because it's cheap.
Where's the slot drive?
Does it have wifi?
Are people who want more space still forced to buy over-priced Microsoft hard-drives?
From what's shown it's the same console but slightly smaller, cheaper and black.
The problem with the 360 and other older consoles is that they are incapable of pumping out 3D at the quality supported only by the latest HDMI specifications.
a brand new 360 is more likely to fail than a used PS3 or Wii.

If anyone knows of any multiplatform game that is as detailed as the Uncharted 1 in-game screen-shots in the above link, please list them.
Uncharted 1 was vastly more detailed. More detailed characters and environments as well as higher res textures and shaders.
The art direction in Enslaved is excellent and the lighting looks convincing. It's a lot like RE5.
Here's are some actual in-game captures of Uncharted 1:

The writer claims that modern PS3 gamers aren't familiar with Gran Turismo.
With a unexpected ruling last year, they took away your constitutional freedom to a fair vote and freedom of speech by allowing big corporations like BP to spend unlimited amounts of money to get their candidate elected.
People like Scalia, Thomas, and Roberts are extreme right wingers.
They believe in censorship and controlling what people do.
You should be very scared.
unless Crysis 2 runs at 60fps on consoles, there's no comparison. There's little that's truly techinically impressive or unique in the Crysis 2 vids shown.
Apart from the inevitable hype involving anything named Crysis, it appears to be another generic shooter.
Vanquish seems a lot more interesting. The new fighting modes in Killzone 3 could be interesting as well but time will tell if it's useful or just a gimmick.
Seems they want to take on Uncharted 2 directly with the opening scene. The character model isn't as quite detailed as Drake but the environment effects appear to be more advanced.
There two aspects of the visuals that disappointed me.
1) The lighting from the gun flare appears to not be full-range with blending but rather the simpler binary (on/off) like Gears of War. Need to see more uncompressed HD clips to be sure.
2) The po...

It also had a position sensor which sensed head movement and rotated the view accordingly.
A true visionary who was pushed out to make way for more "practical" people.
They're not even on the same platform. GT5 and Forza 3 are not direct competitors except among the few consumers who are undecided about which console they prefer and will at least partially base that pricing decision on these games.
Given Forza 3's rip-off/nickel-and-dime pricing model (get half the cars for full price and pay that amount again for the rest of the cars) it's unlikely that they won over many converts. The mediocre visuals and plethora of physics...
so I'd be surprised if the hardware failed.
It's the control software that takes the webcam feed and converts it into control inputs that worries me.
What they've shown so far has a lot of lag and appears inaccurate and glitchy.
As I've said for more than a year, Natal is the 360's last chance to get out of last place.

PS3: 4M (33%...
Work with every 360? Are there any accessories that don't?
Should be interesting to see if they have th Milo demo at E3 or just the same fake video.
Molyneux's company has been working on that thing for years so it's about time they showed something for all the funding they've received from Microsoft.
Then again, he was smart enough to leave Microsoft before the future failure of that division became obvious to everyone.

Why? Because they've failed in every new venture.

From the looks of it, Crysis 2 is just another generic shooter.
Vanquish is a genuine genre-buster. Very exciting to see some genuine innovation in gaming.
