The old dog has had its time.
PS3 does everything that 360 does and lots more, with the added bonus of not breaking down all the time.
PC developer in "difficulty programming for PS3" shocker...
Just stick to what you know (PC/Xbox 360) and leave PS3 to the pros.
When PS3 reaches a lower price point Xbox 360 is in trouble.
Xbox simply doesn't appeal to the casual market like Playstation and Wii do, Xbox 360 is seen more of a nerds toy.
5mins mandatory install versus 5mths of ~50dB disc thrashing.
Geee, tough one...
Strange I never saw any mention of RROD or NOISY DVD drives in that article, I guess it must have slipped the authors mind in the middle of all the PS3 bashing.
This is the most biased article I've ever read on n4g, full of so many lies and incorrect/twisted facts.
Either leak it, strike a deal with Nintendo, create something original or shut up, it's getting boring now.
For gods sake recall them and get someone who doesn't eat bananas to re-design it.
I was under the impression Xbox 360 DVD's can only hold 7GB of game data, the rest is reserved for anti-piracy/security measures?
So 50/7=about 7 DVD9's.
Congratulations Microsoft, milk us more and then brag about it...
Some of those games were awful in my opinion, especially the N64 "World Grand Prix" game.
Where is the original Amiga classic? Geoff Crammond's original F1GP?
Extend it further I guess?
If the powers that be had done the right thing and forced a recall in the first place, Microsoft may have actually made a worthwhile attempt at fixing reliability issues.
Instead, we are 3 years down the line with consoles still falling over left right and centre.
Slick.
So will Core/Arcade be bundled with a 20GB HD do ya reckon?
A really bad actress who now makes a career out of having big fake tits.
To be fair she's hardly the sharpest tool in the box, probably didn't weigh up the practicalities of breast implants. ;P
I'm baffled... frame-rate issues, audio glitches and freezes but only on older consoles?!?
The only thing I think of is perhaps it's something to do with wear and tear on the DVD-ROM drives.
It's still a really poor performing OS when compared to XP.
Apart from the flashy interface it's a major step backward in almost all areas.
MAKE YOUR BETS LADS, HOW MANY RRODS AND HARDWARE FAILURES THIS EVENT?? :P
Agreed,
They should be concentrating on the thousands of REAL rapists and murderers who are being released early because our prisons are full.
I wonder how many people have suffered at the hands of convicts who shouldn't have been let out in the first place...
Sony should do one too:
"5000 things you can do whilst waiting weeks to get your 360 back from repair following a RROD...."
...but then they aren't that desperate to resort to such mud-slinging.
