She does seem to have enough of her own personality to be considered a different character, which is neat.

I only really have a problem with the name, which seems like a subset of Link, which doesn't do either of them any favours.. If people have a problem with her being a reincarnation of Link - I don't get why she can't be a reincarnation of some other legendary hero (or maybe she is? Maybe there's a previously unknown line of Linkles as well..) oh well I do...

That's not what anyone is trying to achieve with cloud compute. :/

I liked GH a lot. Not "10/10 a lot" probably, but fair enough. :D

It does what it sets out to do at least.

Marquet? That's an awesome typo, it should be spelled that way instead. :D

The USB requirements? What part don't you meet?

Sony won't win the PC game if they don't have as fancy hardware.. There's space for both. It's goi g to be fun!

It's such a new market I don't really see them as competitors in some ways.. It's not like the industry is going to settle on a single standard like with VHS/Bluray.. They can coexist and tech enthusiasts will probably buy both if there's a lot of games on both. Oculus is playing the long game, and it's good they're launching with premium hardware and not cutting corners.

2017/2018's rift will likely be 4K now that display tech is appearing in phon...

As a dk2 owner I may well skip the cv1. Might get the PSVR despite worries about Sonys long-term dedication to peripherals. I wouldn't like to see Sonys endeavour sour people to the idea if it's not a breakout success. VR can be a healthy niche though, at least with the rift you know stuff will support it for a long time. (Hell, I've had a year of fun on the dk2 already)

You know how it is as early adopters - remember that they've been very open about the fact...

All 3 of the main home VR systems are using spacial motion controls of some sort. Getting the prices down and getting people used to the concept of 1/1 motion and gyro/sensor based motion controls for home gaming was helpful.

People should wait to see what they have in mind before deriding it. Wii-like motion controls may have fallen by the wayside but they were an important stepping stone toward other greater things we're doing in VR now. (And home VR itself is an evolution that's going to be going on for many years.)

People also laughed at how stupid the DS seemed, in advance.. 2 screens? Lol! That turned out well in the end though.

Nintendo are right to try different th...

SPOILERS

Rey may have been trained by Luke as a youngling(lol) (and is quite likely his daughter?) but has had her memory force wiped to keep her hidden.. Which part explains why Kylo Ren had such trouble reading her.

Another possibility is she is actually being used as a vessel for the force being transmitted by Luke himself, maybe even using the lightsaber as a lightning rod for his energy. (It calls out to her? Wtf..) We've seen force users reacting to...

I think Zelda is uniquely singled out in part because it lets you choose Links name, which adds an odd roleplay element that's not really present in those other games. Paired with the fact that link never speaks, there's really nothing inherently male about him or the way he behaves other than the fact that they say so.

So people project into him a bit more.. Which is interesting.

I do think some young girls would be more drawn to a female-capable L...

I don't mind a female link equivalent. I'd probably call her something other than Linkle though, that just seems strange. If she ever *was* used in a proper LOZ I'd rather she was just an optional female Link (called.. Link) than a weird offshoot Linkette. But a different character entirely, preferably, with a separate name. It's not as if there aren't other folk from the same culture/villages as him who could be the hero of time for a bit. It's all fiction, they make ...

They only account for part of the SA series though. Yes it had some fun bits but it also had a lot of bollocks. And even the good bits had terrible camera and pretty wonky gameplay.

Big the cat? Amy? Stupid robot thing? Dumb bat lady? They're as much SA as the sonic stages.

I think SA was more good by luck than judgement, they're both a hodgepodge of decent and bad ideas mixed together. Tails walker stages in SA2 were awful too.

Well of course the guy dies. There is a very good reason for that. If you play further it's clear which choices you could have an effect on, and that isn't one of them.

This is waaaaay too reminiscent of the various attempts different companies and groups of people took at bringing "back" the Amiga.

I'll believe it when it happens. Until then, nope.

If Sega could regain their mojo in the software space first before investing heavily in hardware that'd make more sense anyway. It's not like a new platform would suddenly make good games happen.

The McDonald's case made sense. The coffee was heated to a ridiculous extent (180 degrees) causing *really* bad burns requiring surgery, and someone needed to pay the medical bills. They ruled that coffee shouldn't ever be heated to such a crazy temperature, and nobody could realistically expect to happen even if the accident had been their fault.

Yup. I really hope the PSVR bucks this trend..

I bought the PSMove Sharpshooter! Haha. Sony are totally schizophrenic when it comes to peripheral (and device) support. PSMove is great and

Hell, i even had clié's that were extremely great. Glad I never got into AIBOs. Meh.

How many old SF games had a butt slap animation taking up most of the frame?
False equivalence. How do you know they didn't have to edit all sorts of stuff out of pre release other SF titles anyway, we wouldn't know. :P

They aren't just trying to sell it to the hardcore who always buy SF games. It's fine for them to appeal to as wide a range as possible without compromising their wacky style. A lot of us who grew up with SF2 now have families who it...

3722d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Umm. Common sense. The overwhelming majority will buy sf5 without ever hearing about the butt slap. Anyone with any sense realises a split second of animation doesn't make or break a game, regardless of what happens in that animation. It's a total non-issue. Just because a bunch of weirdos think it's important - they're just *another* vocal minority themselves.
