To me the 360 has a lower gamma, thus the colors are a tiny shade darker. But the blacks on the PS3 is a tiny shade darker.
All in all, it's 99% equal so this comparison is useless.
DAMNNNNN YOUUUUU... I wont get mine's until tomorrow.

And I think this guy's video is just a joke. Listen to what he says at the end "Look It's a 720p video and I cropped it to 540p and you cant tell the difference!" Obviously it cut his head out.
For some reason, Ninja Gaiden 2 even at a lower resolution than Halo 3, looks much much better. Halo 3 on the HDTV looks "obviously" low-resolution with tons of aliasing. But NG2 still looks pretty sharp.
I very much prefer lesbian porn.
FFXIII will not go multiplat. Come on, this is Square-Enix we're talking about here. They are the biggest hardware pushers with any console they lay they're fingers on. The PS3 with Blu-Ray and standard HDD = they're biggest challenge yet.
Even if it did, then expect a special edition 5 disc version for the 360.
That's the thing, they designed with the CPU to support the GPU in mind. It's up to the developers to figure out ways to make them work together. Not like traditional PCs where it matters most on just the GPU alone to do all the work (which is why your CPU is only being used 25%).
It's more sad that Gears of War is the best looking 360 title. And still is. Why not list a bunch more games that are "graphically amazing" instead of just Gears? That's the oldest arguement in the book. And then Gears 2 that looks great but is just an update to Gears 1. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Gears fan, but anybody who thinks Gears 2 is some sort of magical leap in graphics over Gears 1 just needs their eyes checked.
Secondly the PS3 has many more graphically a...
If the Xbox360 came with a standard HDD and Blu-Ray, then I think it would have been safe to say that FFXIII would have been multiplatform. But keep in mind, Final Fantasy games is basically SquareEnix's reputation and they HAVE to push the boundaries in terms of graphics.
Two things are almost certain with FFXIII. Mandatory Install and 50gb Blu-Ray disc.
Ah yes Fable 2. I'm definitely interested in that one.
Well if you look at the underlying message. "but it felt like the 360 got the B-team, while the A-team are free to frolic away on the PS3"
He's mad because the "A-team" are working on the PS3 and not the 360.
lol @Light Yagami. That made my day. One of the funniest posts I've read. Bubble!
lol Silogon has one bubble. Time to make a new account I presume?
Ah well, it was good to think of anyway. After MGS4. I think I'm finally gonna be at ease. I've never been so excited for a video game it's ridiculous. The only other game I'm going to be almost excited for is probably God of War III.
Even if MGS5 is announced, not unless they include Snake in the story (even without him being in the actual game) then it's just not the same.
Your car analogy should have been
If BMW comes out with an 335i it's pretty fast and it's nice. But Infinity ward will have come out with an M3 CSL-R.
Yup and I hope they keep every single Metal Gear game out of Nintendo's hands. Why? Because I'd be pissed to see a "Solid Snake & Mario at the olympics" or "Revolver Ocelot Party & Friends"
It takes them literally years to make a Final Fantasy game. Which is good IMO.
You'd know if the gaming industry goes the way of Activision and EA if Squre-Enix starts releasing a new Final Fantasy once a year. Of course with minor upgrades that has things that should have been in the previous year. lol
I agree 60fps > 30fps.
But given the ridiculous amount of detail that was in Ratchet & Clank Future even at 60fps. I cant even fathom the amount of detail they're going to put into Resistance 2 with 30fps.
They had me since MGS1.
