I still think they should have just paid $50 million and made they're own GTA. GTA: Something Something and it would have been exclusive to the 360.

Sweet, didn't know that. Thanks

No Bill Gates, no 360 version.

There are people that still need to get that through their heads.

4 Friggin days left.

I honestly had more fun playing this demo than I do with COD4 now. Don't get me wrong, I played the hell out of COD4. But this is pretty refreshing to me. More specifically the vehicles and destructible environments. I like the fact that there's a sniper camping in a building, I just use a grenade launcher and blow up the building he's hiding in. Sweet.

Otherwise the graphics are so-so, but definitely digging the gameplay.

I do have to agree that Chronicles of Riddick for the original XBOX was a great experience.

The power of the consoles is not an issue. It's the sheer fact that you can only fit a certain amount of commands with a controller opposed to a keyboard. And Civ games aren't even about graphics anyway.

I don't get what's so wrong about the companies paying money for exclusives. Exclusive games tend to take advantage of a particular hardware much better than a multiplatform title. Of course it's not to say that all exclusive games are automatically good, just saying that it's a good thing for gamers.

Imagine a world where there are no exclusives. It would boil down to the tiniest pettiest things like "My system has 2 more pixels than yours on chapter 11"

LaChance, If there's anybody here that's ignorant, that would be you. All your posts are biased and always pro-360. If Bill Gates took a piss down your throat you would drink every drip.

Secondly if Microsoft was so hard pressed on making profit. Why do they do stupid things like drop $50 million on DLC when they could have just used $50 million to make a totally awesome new game instead.

Third, they spent 1 Billion in repairs just to save face for they're faulty har...

there are still people who believe that Konami will spend more money trying to compress the 50gb game to a DVD9 or cut the game to 5 dvds and somehow manage to deal with no HDD installation, and come up with an excuse to Sony "sorry we said it's a PS3 exclusive, we're now dumbing it down for the 360 even though we have a contractual agreement"

I agreee to kydrice. While playing the PS3 demo, it definitely felt much more like a "war." Call of Duty 4 just feels different.

Well you are right about many things my friend. However I will add in the fact that Nintendo's pricing is also what's helping they're success. Imagine a PS3 for $249 like a Wii. It will sell immensely. Imagine a PSP for $129.99 like a DS. People will buy it. Because it doesn't hurt their wallets.

It's true to a certain extent, but look at the PSP's success in Japan. How many japanese gamers do you think actually bought a PSP for homebrew? It just takes a specific title to get it really launched. Even if Dark Alex never crafted the homebrew scene, Sony would have found a way to get people to buy a PSP.

If not now, then it's still nothing but a stepping stone to the PSP2.

Haven't seen him in awhile. He could be under a different name, or probably banned to the open zone.

Either way, with this news. Anything is possible. I'm going to post this in every Bioshock news. "Bioshock is never, ever going to the PS3!"

=)

The problem isn't the lack of games on the system, it truely is the homebrew scene. Even if the PSP gets superbly excellent games, people just aren't buying them like they should. Look at God of War for example. One of the best games for the PSP, but didn't sell too much.

I've said it and I'll say it again. Sony needs to send Solid Snake to assassinate Dark Alex. Or a soldier that's greater than the legendary Solid Snake. Chuck Norris.

I don't know, but if there will ever be such a thing as FF7 remake even without a bundle. The earth will implode on itself.

They are also forgetting that you are not FORCED to purchase "Qore" in order to play online games. Regular content still gets updated.

Japanese gamers have very much different tastes in video games. What seemingly set off the PSP domination was FF7: Crisis Core. And for some reason Monster Hunter Freedom kept the momentum going.

I wonder how well the Wii version will push the Wii hardware.
