"So please, do us all a favor, cut the BS and stop ACTING neutral. "

Glad I'm not the only one who see pass Lachances BS. Like I said, if microsoft wants to take a piss down someone's throat, he'd be the first in line. If Microsoft made a cake out of poo, he'd be the one to eat it.

"I would rather have patches than getting stuck with a product that is broken."

That is the whole point of the person who wrote the article. The product shouldn't have been shipped BROKEN to begin with. It should be up to the game publishers to allow more ample time for development and not release a broken game. What comes to mind is Blacksite Area 51, perhaps the most broken game ever created.

However it should be noted that if a developer did miss one or ...

"The political nonsense of a story was also a bore. "

That's because you don't have the brain capacity to understand anything. Play Halo 3 instead, it's only requirement is to have an IQ of 20 or below.

Given that we haven't seen too much on both titles, it's too early to say what each one will deliver. From the concepts, Prototype looks to be more mature oriented with gore, while Infamous is going for a more superhero approach.

It'd be BIAS to ignore either title. Hopefully since Infamous is a PS3 exclusive, they'll prioritize getting a solid frame rate and push the console harder. Then again, it's Sucker Punch's first gen PS3 title so it might not be as good as it's potential....

If this game just sits at a solid frame rate, it would already be better than GTA IV on the technical side of things. I enjoyed GTA IV, but the more I play the more I'm annoyed by the slopping feeling controls and chunky frame rates with heavy action.

How about no Halo at all, and something new and refreshing?

Yeah it's hard to differentiate FPS games. It'd be interesting to see what developers can actually do with it in the future. So far, Mirror's Edge looks promising as far as doing something different with the genre.

Well if they throw in vehicles online, then it might be the better game for some people. I don't know about you, but I love being in an M1 tank and blasting a poor helpless soldier running across the field.

Yeah Resistance 2 and Gears 2 are going to be excellent games. For some, it will be all they'll need.

We've been hearing this for quite some time now. Ever since sony partnered up with NCsoft back in E3 2007, there's absolutely zero news about what they're coming up with as far the PS3 titles go. Yeah it's only been one year, but a nice little teaser or something would be nice. (Aside from the agency which looks ok)

Your missing the point here. It's the fact that these games gives you the OPTION to either skip it, or watch it. Then immerse yourself in it's world however you see fit. And secondly, it doesn't sound like you even touched MGS4 at all. There's no 2 minute clip followed by some running around. Some of the action sequences in there truely does rival the big hit movies (Refer to Raiden's scene of gekko pwnage)

However I'd be inclined to agree that video games aren't replacements for...

Next gen doesn't start when Sony says so. Next gen doesn't start when Microsoft says so. Next gen definitely isn't remotely starting with Nintendo.

Next gen starts when Metal Gear Solid comes out. MGS1 for the PS1. MGS2 for the PS2. And now MGS4 for the PS3. The benchmark title for each new generation. Notice after every MGS title comes out, the console that it's on gains the respect it deserves.

Also note that this day and age, people prefer high tech weapons and gadgets compared to older weapons. Look at the success of COD4 just because it was set in the mordern times. People just love to play with that kind of gear. So when MGS3 was found out to be set in the 1960s, it might have turned off a huge amount of people. Compared to MGS2 which looks all high tech and not to mention the sequel to MGS1.

Excellent sales considering the only advertisement was after the MTV Awards. I have not seen a single commercial anywhere. I've seen more "bournce conspiracy" commercials.

Although Japan probably has the most advertisement for this game.

"most of the blame for Halo 3 shouldn't be thrown directly at Bungie or Microsoft, for they aren't entirely at fault"

wait wait wait, the consumers aren't the one who marketed Halo 3 at burger king and f*ckin 7-11. If anybody overhyped Halo 3, it's Microsoft!!!

Ah more shiny looking games.

1080i is still a very high resolution. Don't know about anybody else, but Pirates of the Carribean 3 on blu-ray is only 1080i and it looks as sharp as crystals. However 1080p would "theoretically" be better for games than 1080i, but to say 1080i isn't HD is pretty ignorant.

Yup, there's so many stupid games available on the Nintendo DS and Wii. However like any system, there's some good gems buried in there somewhere.
