Does it really have to be about "fanboys" You really think there are 14 million "fanboys" ??? Fanboys make up the lower 1% of the market. Which most are on N4G, which makes the absolute minimum.
Why is it so hard that people might want to buy a PS3 to play games? Or yes watch a blu-ray movie? Why is it just because they feel that the PS3 has a great value for the money, they are instantly a fanboy?
Same goes for the X360, why does anybody who buy ...
It sounds like this guy just have his head up Nintendo's butt.
That's very true.
It's not like people could optionally skip the other updates to begin with.
Here we go again... Why cant these developers just worry about making their own games.
Who says he doesn't already have one?

Seriously, it got me thinking. I can literally say to my friends, "hey you wanna hit up that virtual press event on the 30th? they've got some videos WE could watch and some good announcements"
Sure it doesn't beat going to a real life press event, but hey this is all about online interactivity isn't it? And this by far got me mostly intrigued with this HOME thing.
I'm going to go with 7. I foresee a lot of websites giving this game a 6, and even some will give it a 8 or 9.
Keep in mind IGN is a paid corporate website. Which means they probably aren't allowed to say a single negative thing in they're previews. Just look at Haze. You can tell they tried really hard to hide their real opinions.
Just give it a rent folks. Better to gamble renting time from gamefly, than drop $65. Gamefly saved me $65 from Haze lol.
Bubbles for you for simply having a car name =)
I just happen to love MR2s and my brother has a greddy twin turbo 350z.
Well you are correct about the music support. Games will need to be patched first before we can utilize it. Secondly, the message system is pretty important. Before people had to quit just to reply to a message. Now it saves everyone huge amounts of time and can actually communicate to each other. I don't see that as a bad thing. To some, it's probably the most important thing from this update.
With trophies, the more trophies you earn. The more exp you get, and you level up. So ...
I agree to not say things are finished as there are a lot of things they can add.
But the web browser isn't that bad, they just need to add flash support.
I wasn't too interested in Home until I read a small preview in OPM, saying that Sony or 3rd party companies can hold virtual press events complete with ads and everything. It just sounds so cool to imagine hundreds of people all in one place like a real press event.
Yes in-game XMB is the main course for most.
It's much like RPG games with Exp points. Heck, even COD4's exp point system. There's some weird psychological effect that we must keep gaining exp to reach higher levels. On COD4, before I stop playing. I'm always "just 1 more level" then "just one more level" then all of a sudden another hour passes by and I've already gained 5 levels lol.
Heck, I was never into this whole achievements/trophies stuff. But the more I think about it, the more this trophy thing...
Well achievements or trophies, it's all optional anyway.
There are already PS3 gaming w-hores. Now this just gives them more of a reason to do so lol
It turned out to be pretty informative actually. They just talked about it with more depth and detail than the guy who was in the videos.
Ahhh. I can feel your RAGEEEE... RAGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Bruceongames, you are the defining reason why nothing ever moves foward. You're too busy thinking about what companies "didn't do" instead of thinking about what they "did do."
I was fanboy of the week and listened to Tordavis from the bitbag. He made some good points about innovation. Every company gets innovation from each other. That's just how it works. One company alone does not make the whole industry. Without Sony, who knows what Nintedo would have mad...
