I know I'm part of a minority. But I was bored to death with the last of us. I ended up trading it in towards killzone merc. Strange because uncharted is my absolute favorite this generation and love naughty dog.

Some of you Brasil folks are better off buying a plane ticket to the U.S. for a couple days vacation, buy a PS4 with some games, and go back and still pay less than buying one there.
Looking to throw in an SSD once some people test it out.
It made a significant difference for GT5 and GTAV for me on the PS3.
Hopefully the PS4 is coded to utilize the R/W speeds of an SSD better.

That's true too, actually I think the 280X is slightly faster than a 7970GE, because even at 150mhz lower clock speed, it runs the same or better. If the 280X is overclocked to 1GHZ, then it surpasses the 7970GE. Pretty awesome for $299
They are re-brands, but at least they discounted them. If they re-branded them and raised the prices, then people should be up in arms.
I actually prefer Nvidia cards for their drivers, PhysX, and other factors, but I agree this is a big facepalm. Even though the R series are just re-brands, it still makes a compelling case because of the price. That kind of performance for $299 is pretty amazing considering not too long ago the same card was $400-$500.
Although I already have a GTX 680, I'm considering looking at the 290X once the price is revealed.

I'd prefer 60fps for all games. HOWEVER doesn't mean I don't enjoy games that are 30fps either IE: Uncharted, Killzone, etc.
Honestly I can use either one comfortably.

It's hard to believe Phil Harrison who used to work for Sony, and is now claiming the Xbox has the best games. Yeah right. Next up he'll go to Atari again and say Atari has the best games.
