That and the pictures are too small to show any difference. All I know is current gen doesn't look like that.
In other news, Water is wet
I prefer Nvidia GPUs and all, but yeah it really looks like sour grapes here.
Because no matter what Nvidia says, no matter how true PC's graphics will be more powerful than consoles, the simple pure FACT that consoles will sell millions and millions and millions of units. Look at the PS3/360/Wii = 258M units combined.
So imagine however many millions of units sold of PS4/Xbone = Zero revenue for Nvidia.
Microsoft does everything for the interest of the consumers, they listen to feedback from their fans, and above all they never ever lie.
Well that and it's pretty sweet to have a F2P game on launch day. I have it on PC and it's pretty decent.
I'm hoping for a 780/770 price drop. Might upgrade to it if the price is within reason.
He's just talking about latency. There's no trolling from Penello here. Although it could be said the same for any console connected through it.
I have a 2600k at 4.4ghz, and a GTX680.. I do play most of my games on PC, but man it's been about almost two years now where most of the games barely break a sweat. It's like I bought a 600hp Ferrari to drive it at most 140mph knowing it's capable of 200mph. While it's great fun at 140mph, it's a shame that I can't take it to 200mph more often. Obviously not a direct analogy, but it's pointless considering the amount of money I've spent.
But o...
"Coupled with the repeated reports of Microsoft still not showing off launch games on their own console, and instead using PCs that grossly outperform the console those games are expected to run on"
This sums up the article quite a bit.
A lot of the games seen have be running on actual PS4 dev kits while Xbone titles have been running on crazy PC hardware.
They did, but they never outright admitted their mistakes like this guy did. I'm sure more consumers would be much more forgiving to MS if they would just be front and admit things instead of treating the mass consumers like we're mindless sheep.
Microsoft could learn a few lessons from this guy.
"No one is going to believe us, and so by not giving up on 14 and by admitting our mistakes, facing our mistakes and overcoming them and remaking the game and showing them we are committed to this project, and we are committed to our fans is the way we wanted to get that trust back. We hope that by doing this launch, we can get some of that trust back."
I really don't get why people are still acting confused.
On paper it's flat out clear.
Forza Dev says "It's like comparing a 400hp M3 or a 500hp Mustang."
No, it's comparing a "400hp M3 with a 600hp M3" since they use the same AMD architecture on the CPU and GPU. The GPU is faster on the PS4 and the memory widens that gap even further.
It's the silliest argument I've ever seen.
Yeah it's Sony, they have a ton of studios. Who's crazy enough to think they aren't making more exclusives?
Oh wait, those One guys.
I'm going to miss Soap
Also because that's my nickname
lol
You could get 10 hours if you play two COD campaigns
So he talks about optimization on the hardware.
But don't these Microsoft people understand that if you optimize your software on better hardware, the better hardware will always be on top???
It's like they think it's the PS3 all over again, not realizing that the PS4 is just as easy to develop for (if not easier) than the Xbone, on top of having more powerful specs.
It should be
"Microsoft made a mistake by _____(insert anything)______"
Damn it, once you see it you can't unsee it.
Just like this, tortured me for years
http://bulk2.destructoid.co...
Actually the details on Sony's hardware has been public for quite some time now.
However, it's still not even the finalized specs. We don't know the final CPU speed if it is 1.6ghz or greater, and we don't know the final GPU speed.
One launched at $1000, the other is launching at $600.
People, do the math.
