It's true that Sony PS3 people are missing out on the DLC experience. However, it would only be painful if it's the ONLY PS3 game coming out in 2008. I don't have to list everything coming out as it's been done a million times.
I would say one thing that would actually truely make the 360 version superior and absolutely best GTA IV experience ever in human existence, would that if MS actually announced all the extra DLC "FREE."
That would surely move a lot ...
About the warhawk comment. Usually in games I would agree, the higher the numbers of player does not necessarily mean the better the gameplay.
HOWEVER, for warhawk, that game is absolutely tailored and designed for large numbers of players. I would say the more players for Warhawk, the better. 32 vs 32 warhawks would be pretty friggin amazing.

The guy in the article is just hoping we don't get a "Gears 1.5" based on the developement time, extra hype, and media pressure.
I honestly think it's going to deliver either way. Even if it was Gears 1.5, just wrap up the story, improve on the graphics, tweak the gameplay, add some features here and there and Bam. It'll be more than enough for any Gears fan. Or at least for me.
All this for 5 minutes? I could understand 15-20min for the whole Devil May Cry 4 thing, but 5 minutes... A one-time install of 5 minutes. Come on, most of you are probably going to wait an hour standing in line to pick the game up anyway. What the heck is a 5 minute install on a 100 hour long game going to do to you?

-Go on N4G comments section and bash on UT3 PS3 for not having splitscreen and "inferior graphics."

Actually I could recall "Gears cant be done on the PS3" and then UT3 PS3 pretty much Bltchslapped Cliffy B.
And the biggest benefit for UTIII coming out for the PS3 is other games that use the Unreal engine will definitely run well on the PS3. So even if UTIII was a failure on the PS3, the coding was a important step for Sony for getting good running multiplat games that are based on the Unreal engine.

UT3 was fun for awhile, but it is definitely in the shadow of COD4.
One thing that should be noted is that it "seems" that the PS3 version was a bit rushed to come out before Christmas '07. While the 360's version has been getting additional attention, to an already up and running optimized engine since Gears. So it should be absolutely zero surprise that it will look and run better than the PS3 version.
Another thing is that UT3 PS3 owners should realize and be happy that it wasn't a half-@ssed port to begin with.

So it should be a good indication that there are more Diehard sony fans than xbox ones. Not saying it's a good or bad thing, but it's the truth. It's not too hard to believe considering some of the best games ever created started or succeeded on the previous playstation consoles. FFVII, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto III, Gran Turismo, God of War, Ratchet & Clank, Madden, etc.

True, but releasing a new xbox will yet again be a slap in the face to the current generation of xbox owners. And with rising developement costs already for the 360 and PS3, I don't think developers are quite ready to drop even more money for a new console just yet. Maybe in 2 years I'd say.
Being more pro-sony here, I still think it's stupid to look at a Poll as if it's a crystal ball or something. The fact is the Wii is completely dominating everything. There's no poll needed to see that. And it's factual that the 360 is far from dead with plenty of life left. And it's also factual that the PS3 has not yet released any of it's big franchises yet, so to say it's going to be dead is also ridiculous.

I have to agree, but just as long as I get MGS4, FFXIII, Full GT5, and God of War III. The PS3 can diminish if they want to lol.
The price drop would have been announced already if it was true. I don't think we'll see another price drop until Christmas. Even then, let's hope it's a significant price cut. A $299 PS3 will sell like hot cakes.
