And thats why I didn't watch it :)
All the trailers (which I knew would be crap anyways) could be found online immediately following the show, so I didn't miss a thing. Not like I cared about the actual awards, we all know how worthless those are :P
Wow Seferoth, good job assuming things. I was there as well and clearly remember it. You obviously don't remember the PURPOSE of Nintendo to create the seal of quality. I NEVER said that NES didn't have some bad games, come one man give me a break. But the NES didn't nearly have the amount of shovelware that the Atari had, which was the whole freaking reason the gaming industry almost tanked and Nintendo created that Seal to bring quality back to the market.
More than anyth...
anyone else remember the Nintendo Seal of Quality?
Kinda ironic that the very thing Nintendo fought against and saved this industry from in the 80s has now become biggest offendor of it.
And why the hell can't Miyamoto make a great hardcore game anymore without trying to "appeal to casual players" as well? Here's to hoping Galaxy 2 isn't dumbed down :P
Nazi Zombies was the only good thing in WaW. WaW's multiplayer otherwise was terrible. Not because it went back to WW2, but because it just sucked.
Spiderman was also a pretty good game. Didn't Treyarch also play a part in the original Tony Hawk games? For some reason I thought they did, I can't remember.
Oh god the memories. It feels like it was just yesterday that I just got my PSX. My greatest memories in gaming all happened on the PSX.
So they will suspend you for playing the game as it was shipped? It's the devs fault the glitch is in there, don't punish the users for taking advantage of the devs mistakes. How about the testers at Infinity Ward, do they get get "suspended" as well. Doubtful.
I don't like the glitch, find it quite annoying, but that does not mean it should be right to suspend players who are simply playing the game as it was shipped.
Another point of comparison is the issue of piracy. The Dreamcast, just like the Xbox 360 today, was plagued with piracy. The same exact thing is happening with 360, and thats because the 360 and Dreamcast both used "previous-gen" formats, thus making it easy to pirate the software.
It really does feel like deja vu. The only difference is that the 360 and Microsoft will never go broke the way Sega did. Even if Microsoft continues to lose millions of dollars, they ca...
Lol Google is not even close to a Monopoly. If anything, their competitors at Microsoft do more monopolistic behavior than Google. Microsoft bought out any close competitor (Yahoo) to ensure they could remain the exclusive competition to Google in the search business. Thats how monopolists behave.
Its called Google Translator.
Fail
360 just has a fundamental design flaw, all MS has been doing is patching their wounds but not truly fixing the design problem. The 360 will always be a higher than normal unreliable console until they completely change the design of the hardware. Especially for gamers who play their 360s a lot for extended periods of time, they'll always be at high risk for failure.
I just had another 360 red ring on me and now I'm giving up and playing everything on PS3 from now on. I'll be ...
LOL wow what a douche. Bun just pwned you like the tool that you are la_studio.
COD4- a labor of love and a game for the gamers.
MW2- a cash-in off the huge success of the original, focused solely on milking money, not the hardcore gamers that got the series where it is.
This guys number 6 reasoning I would actually consider a flaw. How in the hell are plot holes a positive thing to argue this being the greatest Zelda game ever?
Link to the Past owns that title.
Loving this game so far. The graphics are incredible. Gameplay is a ton of fun too, despite some issues with stats right now.
Because if they're going to spend money on a new system, might as well spend that money on a system you don't have yet.
You can still play on a banned 360, just can't play on Live, so if you're banned you can get a PS3 for all your online games (and play online for free) and still pirate single player games on 360.
And anyone here who is active at all in the modding community will know that a lot of the people getting banned are saying they are planning on getting PS...
wow this article is such newfaggery. Microsoft didn't just ban people in US and Canada, they've been banning in Europe too, so the authors logic is completely wrong.
Wada is such a terrible CEO. How about he gives an actual firm release date so they can build up some hype instead of just leaving consumers confused and clueless.
And before the end of fiscal 2009 does not mean this year, it means before March 2010.
Hell....No....
I love MW, and I can't wait for MW2, but to be honest MW does not have a very powerful engine. Which is why it can actually run very well on a medium PC setup. I've already played MW2 early on a friends flashed 360, and the graphics are nowhere near UC2.
IW has a lot of great little tricks they do to make the game look better, but the engine itself is still not very powerful. When you look at things like the effects, animations, etc. it actually loo...
Graphics did look good, but lets see if they actually can improve the game as well.
